Jane convinced me to join NC, and it's nice to see a few faces, names and bodies that I recognise already! For those who have been un/fortunate to not meet me yet on other naturist sites: I'm Ed, an infuriatingly enthuastic young IT dude from Aberdeen that wandered into social nudity a few months ago. I echo the praise already heaped on the Arlington - I would be there every week if I lived close enough!

You’re right about The Arlington, if I lived closer, I’d be there all the time! Actually, last week, when my plans for the Sunday fell through, I really wanted to go but just couldn’t ask Andy for a lift through again! Roll on next year, and a fixed hand! 🖖

Has anyone here gone to the Loch Lomond Naturist Island? It seems like a great idea (what are the midges like?!). I love camping, and swimming in cold water! I’m a bit mad 🤪

Hello! Fancy seeing you here!  Although I thought you were called Dan 😉  Sadly I'll need to curtail my visits to most excellent Arlington Swim next year.  An almost 100 mile round trip isn't conducive to regular visits plus it's almost 6 hours out of my only day off at weekends.    🙁

Indeed. I hope everyone had an enjoyable Christmas.

I had a great time with my family over Christmas and now looking forward to the New Year celebrations, so I trust everyone has a great time.
I've noticed that many of us would like to meet up, being fairly scattered across Scotland. The BN gathering is a great idea but gets booked up so quickly. Does anyone know of a reasonable naturist B&B or Hotel in Scotland where NC members could get together for a naturist weekend?

Sadly naturist B&B / Hotels are a rare thing in Scotland.  The West Highland Retreat is on my to visit list for next year!

Belated merry Christmas, hope everyone had a good time. Like olderman also had family staying, which was nice for the kids and the grandparents. We even managed to get a white Christmas by the skin of the teeth. Me and the Mrs had some hot tub time, which was really nice in the cold but still night, although as my sister joined us, it was just me naked this time. Watching the stars sipping prosecco at -5c has a lot to recommend it.
