I'm rather jealous of your hot tub, Jamie! For the week before Christmas, I did have a roaring wood burning stove, so can't grumble too much!

Did anyone else get snowed in yesterday? What a sight! It's nice to be feeling well again. Did anyone else get bowled over by the lurgy? Eurgh! Hopefully that's it for this season... Fingers crossed.

Nice to be back and chatting with you all again  🙂

Had a nice quiet Xmas (which is how I like it, lol),
but been bowled over by the lurgy, day 3 now. Not seen any snow in Dundee thankfully. Off work now until Wed but so many people in the office were off with lurgy before we closed yesterday, it's a bit of an epidemic up here.

Hope everyone else is well and looking forward to 2018.

Rob

Glad you had a nice time Rob, but sorry to hear about your lurgy. I hope you can get rid of it quicker than I did!

We did have a nice, quiet time at the cottage, thanks Victor/Ian 🙂 I just wish I'd felt better sooner as it was really only by the end of the week that I felt up to a proper walk! Although I really was happy to just sit and bake by the stove!

Hi Jane, good to hear you are feeling better. Similar to your situation last week, it's a wood burning hot tub so you do get the nice smell of wood smoke too. We probably use it as much in the Winter as the Summer, although it really benefits from not having too much wind. We have had a very picturesque few days, the snow has only today started to melt.

Good to hear you are over your lurgy Jane. One of my mates and his wife are bowled over with it just now, so we are keeping our distance from them at the moment as it sounds like a pretty bad strain.
As most of you know we spent Christmas in Lanzarote, so I spent most of Christmas day at Charco del Palo naked with my wife (yes, she finally went for it, and enjoyed it!!!) and my youngest. Best Christmas ever  ;D ;D ;D

There does seem to be a lot of lurgy going about!

It sounds like you had a lovely time away, Jane!

I don't think I'll be venturing far today, as it's raining datsun cogs at the moment, with gale force winds!

So glad you had a great holiday Dave, and that’s fantastic news about Donna! Hopefully she’ll be coming to the Arlington on the 21st? It would be wonderful if she made it 😊

We’re popping up to Pillars today as we had to postpone going out on Friday! Snow’s all gone now, the pond is back to normal (you couldn’t see it under the snow and ice!), so it’s just normal windy and wet now lol! Stay safe!

I’ve got my fingers crossed Jane🤞🏻 From what she’s been saying I think it’s now a distinct possibility 👍🏻
Hope everyone has a great Hogmanay, see you all in a few weeks

Pillars of Hercules? That's a lovely organic cafe / farm shop! One of my plans for last year (but never got round to it) was to cycle from home in Dunfermline, with tent etc on trailer on the back of my bicycle, camp overnight, then head home the next day.

Hopefully should be heading to the Arlington myself on the 21st so it'll be good to put names to faces.  🙂

Notifications for this post seem to be getting lost in my junk box!

Happy Nude Year! I hope it's been a good start to the new year for everyone?

I'm looking forward to meeting many of you at some point in the future, if not later this month 🙂

Yes, I really like Pillars - it's a little veggie haven in Fife! Camping there would be nice - you'd get a great breakfast!!

Fingers crossed for the 21st 🙂
