Hi Janeypoppet,
I agree that most other sites, other than NC, are a waste of time! I shan't be able to make Arlington this Sunday but will organise something in March if any others of you are going,

I may try and squeeze a visit on the 11th of March as well.

I'm getting a biopsy taken on my left ear on Monday 12th, which will need stitching, so not handy to attend a swim after then until it heals up.  😮 Fingers crossed nothing untoward is found!

Sounds nasty! Fingers crossed that all goes well!

It would be great to meet you on Sunday! You’ll have to come over and say hi though, as I’m not sure I’ll recognise you if you haven’t got your hat on! Lol!!

hi everyone,

Yesterday I made an undercover (or maybe under no covers) trip to the Arlington swim.

It was my first naturist swim and I'm really pleased with myself! I think I've been on a high all day because I'm so pleased with myself  ;D

I was going to post in here before I went but felt that might have added too much pressure on myself if I let a lot of people know I was going.
I got a bit nervous in the car on the way but didn't have any nerves when I arrived or even when I was taking off my clothes.

I loved the turkish suite. I could have stayed in there all day. I think a beer fridge would be the only thing that would make it better  🙂

I went with someone else who had been to Haddington a couple of times but he was never at Arlington before. We're talking about going once a month and I can't wait until the next time  🙂

Sounds as if 11 March will be a date to aim for my next Arlington swim. I think that everyone who has been there has come away wanting to go back. It really does have a great atmosphere, with lots to do. As a PG Diploma holder in Building Conservation, I believe that this venue deserves to be retained for future generations and the more people who go, the more funds will be generated for it's conservation.

Unfortunately, 11 March doesn’t suit me as it is my son’s birthday that day. So if any of you get to Arlington, please enjoy. One of these days yes, one of these days, I will get there.

I love being in my skin

It certainly does!  Just a shame it's soo far away distance wise,  otherwise I'd attend more frequent.

I remember my first time attending, I was pretty nervous to start with, but ended up finishing off the night by thinking to myself "what's the worse that can happen!" and had a go on the rings, and falling in spectacularly! Much fun to be had.

It is strange though, as normally I'm rather quiet and reserved, but when my clothes come off at a skinny swim, I somehow seem to become more confident and sociable!  🙂

So, I’m definitely going to The Arlington tonight 😊 If any of you manage along, please say hello.
I’ve had an exhausting, but really enjoyable couple of days, and could so easily say, “Oh, I’ll just stay at home!” as I’m really quite tired, but having missed the last couple of times, I’m determined to go!

Hope you get there Jane. We have the grandkids again this weekend, they move to London on Tuesday. We will hopefully get down to Arlington next weekend or the might leave it to the 11th Mar and see how many of you make it down.

I'll see you there too, as I'm going tonight. Will be seeing if I can get a space in the yoga though. Will probably pop into the Arlington early doors to renew swim card etc!

I figured I may as well pay a visit before the Snowpocalypse!! 😀 Looking like I won't be doing my 200km cycling event next Sunday due to this! 😥

I hope that you've all had a good time at Arlington tonight. I have now booked train tickets and hotel for 11 March and so hope to meet up with members of Jane's Beach Group then.

Yet another great evening at Arlington, met Jane and Brian (Naked Archer). It was really busy (86 people, I believe) so it appears that this venue is going from strength to strength.

Good to meet you Jane and DnD.

May not make it on the 11th March as I forgot it's mother's Day! Best to spend the day spoiling mum.
