Still not sure where to go for our main summer holiday thinking about going back to Skiathos but not sure if little banana nudist beach will be open as last year there was a lot of construction work in that area
It will be open.theres a path at the side of the new buildings(according to locals).

There will always be a way to get there,there used to be a water taxi from town,much better than the walk to the beach or there is the second beach on Tsougria,or xanemos beach near the airport.or parts if Aghia Eleni
We have booked 2 weeks the end of June another couple we know will also be there the same time hopefully the beach will be just as good as last year
Hi Neil-stoke, Little Banana has changed for the worse since Big Banana got taken over by the music crowd. Last time we went the beach was jam packed with sun beds. Fear not tho you can try Elias beach nudist at both ends there is a beach bar in the middle but they want you to cover up nice beach. Now for the crème de la crème if you come off Maratha beach turn right to Skiathos round the bend walk roughly 4-500 yds there is an opening in the bushes with a path down to 3 little beach’s (don’t think it has a name) bit of a climb but it’s worth it for the best beach in Skiathos. You can have the beach to yourself or 5-6 couples. If that is too crowded for you wade through the sea on your left& you will come to another bay, we had that to ourselves for the last 3 days don’t know how to put pics on here yet. Go on google earth & check it out.

I haven’t been to Skiathos for 4/5 years now so I was wondering what the area round little banana beach is like has there a lot of building? Is it still a naturist beach?

Yes its still naturist.the old hotel at the top of the hill been refurbished and are charging a lot for sunbeds etc,still naturist.but i like it better to go to Tsougria island and strip off on the second beach.a lot of people are getting off at koukonaries and walking to mandraki or aghia eleni beach and stripping off on that.there is a banana beach page on facebook-join that to get up to date info..but simple answer yes its nudist but becareful what they charge for sunbeds but nothing stops you just putting your towl on the sand
Last time we went the majority of the beach was sunbeds🥴

Although I haven't been to Skiathos myself for a couple of years, friends of ours said the sunbeds were very expensive and the majority were empty. The beach bar was also expensive. There was a mini bus to take you over the hill though
