Does anyone know the area around Port Lligat / Roses at the top end of the Costa Brava. We're visiting in mid August so will expect it to be really busy. Looking on Google maps, there seem to be numerous tiny rocky coves, but not sure if these are accessible by boat only, or (god forbid) privately owned.

We used to go to L'estartit....great beach.
Go early to avoid parking miles away. There was a way in through some houses by foot and parking in access roads but by mid day or earlier on busy weekend it was all chock a block and we did sympathise with residents who had to battle that every weekend.
