My wife and I have been to CHM Montalivet twice before and are going for a third time this summer. We have enjoyed going there immensely, but now feel we would like to try an alternative location perhaps away from the beaches and coasts. What are peoples’ recommendations for a naturist resort somewhere inland? It would need to be somewhere we can use our motorhome. Thanks!
We were at Domaine Laborde in the Dordogne and also La Petite Brenne in Centre last September, both brilliant sites but you would be better to book at Laborde to pick your pitch, 20% off at the moment for early booking too. We'll be at La Petite Brenne in June, lovely big site with marked walking areas and loads of room
Our first full naturist holiday was at Le Columbier in southern Vendee. It is a beautiful inland site, with swimming pool, spa centre, restaurant and bar, large open sites without the annoying hedged in feeling. The site is run by a lovely Dutch family and most of the visitors are Dutch, so there is no language barriers! It is a lovely friendly site and we absolutely loved it.
We have also stayed at Euro Nat, on a completely different scale, but we also loved it there, one downside is that there is not a lot to visit in the area, we are not the sort that would just pitch up and stay put.
We have also done Cap d'Agde. We stayed on the campsite, that was wonderful. The main centre is looking very dated and quite seedy in places. The beach was fantastic. The main beach infront of the campsite and centre has to be the beach with the greatest spread of ages we have every been to. Yes the beach further to the east has a reputation, but we never were aware of anything we were uncomfortable with. The centre in the evening is a sight to behold! We would occasionally go in for a drink and a bit of people watching. All I can say is that there must be a lack of mirrors in peoples apartments! We enjoyed our stay there, the surrounding area is great.

I certainly agree with both the recommendations above.
The thing is, with a motorhome, you are absolutely spoilt for choice in France!

However, back to the coast - the Med this time, and our current favourite naturist site - Serignan Plage Nature. Great facilities including the fabulous balneo, stunning naturist beach and of course excellent summer weather almost guaranteed.
Most of the eleven sites of Naturisme et Terroirs group of privately owned sites, some of which have already been mentioned, might suit. They are all very much smaller and each has an ambience if its own. So far we have enjoyed staying at more than half of them and are torn between going back to the ones we love most and trying the remainder.

Great feedback all, thanks very much; plenty to think about and plan! Thank you all.
