It’s been so quiet here recently! I’ve been meaning to post all week, but life has been throwing me curve balls for a while now (to put it politely!). I won’t be going tonight Rob, but like Nik - Hi Nik! - I’m hoping to get along next week for the tai chi. I’m hopefully meeting up with a couple from the BN forum too (their first time), so fingers crossed all works out for the 8th.
Have a great time tonight though Rob, hopefully we’ll meet up soon 😊

Hello Nik!
I had been hoping to make it along this evening, alas, I've been floored with a stomach bug last week (a good way to lose weight though! 1.5kg in a week!) so best to give the swim a miss tonight! Possibly I may make a visit on the 8th.
hi all,
been a while since I've been on here too!
I'm going tonight and can't wait! 🙂
Second time and 6 weeks since I first went. Feels like it's been too long!
I have my form filled in, passport and gas bill with me!

Good to hear from you again Jane - I was wondering what had happened to you? I went down to Arlington last week but unlikely to be again for a wee while. I hope they've got the Turkish area going again - it was out of action last week!
Just back from a lovely evening at Arlington swim, as enjoyable as ever. Sorry to read some of you aren't well, hope you get better soon.
The Turkish room was working fine, nearly fell asleep in it again, lol, and around 50 people there even though it's Easter Sunday.
It is just wonderful to be able to relax nude in the company of so many others, no one batting an eyelid and everyone so nice and chatty. Sitting at home now and feeling so clean and skin tingling after saunas, steam room and numerous showers.
We'll be trying to get down once a month again now the grandkids have moved down South and we have more free weekends so hopefully we can meet some of you then.
Rob
Hi all,
I am hoping to get down next weekend as well, as I'm due away with work on the 11th (new job, so hopefully I'll get into a steady rota this year so I can plan my social life slightly easier).
Hopefully catch up with everyone (I've met already) again, and meet up with everyone else for the first time.
All the best
Dave

Great to hear you had a good time Rob and Cygnus. Also great to hear that the Turkish room is up and working again. I like the small, warmer room. It's also quieter than the big turkish room, which is nice for a short time, but the fans (or whatever it is making the noise) really makes relaxing difficult for me!
Thanks, DaveMc, for thinking of me 🙂 Hopefully things will be on a more even keel now, and I can start enjoying life properly again!
Look forward to seeing those of you who can make it on Sunday - Naked Archer, Dave, Nik etc.

The Edinburgh Fringe is going to have a clothing optional performance (including the audience) of Skin Deep The Musical, on Tuesday 21st August 2018! The show looks great fun - but with an important message too. Tickets go on sale on 11th April - not far off now! Anyone want to go? I'll definitely be getting a ticket, and I suppose it won't be that important to be sitting next to each other, as it could get complicated - trying to organise a group booking! It would be lovely to get people along to this special performance (I just hope they have the heating on for us!!) Check out the show at www.skindeepthemusical.co.uk.
FULL DISCLOSURE! I am purely passing on the information I found on Richard's introduction thread on the BN forum this morning. I have no affiliation with the show, but felt it was important to share it with other people in Scotland. We don't get that many opportunities to take part in events like this!

Sounds like a great show and a good night out. 11 April logged into the diary.
A lovely evening at the Glasgow Continental skinny swim at tge Arlington baths, Glasgow last night. Good to see some members of Naturist Corner who also made it through.
Fortunately i was able to get a space on the Tai Chi taster session. Never having done Tai chi before I was unsure what to expect. I needn't have worried as the teacher put us all at ease and gave an excellent class suitable for complete beginners like myself.
That done, by the time i enjoyed the Turkish suite, and the wee hot room off the Turkish suite, the steam room and sauna , and a blether in the tea room, it was time to get dressed again.
Certainly an enjoyable way to spend a Sunday evening. If anyone is unsure about attending, then do try and come along as I'm sure you will enjoy the swim in lovely surroundings with a friendly atmosphere!

I second that, it was lovely to see yourself and Jane again, I also met up up with a lad, Sam, that I've met before at the Sunnybroom swim and I also chatted with a lot of Arlington regulars. To reiterate what Naked_Archer said about the venue, the fact that people will travel 2hrs+ to attend, speaks volumes about what a fantastic place Arlington is.
Great to see you both again too. It was such a great evening - The naked Tai Chi was very relaxing and freeing too - no clothes restricting me! It was great to see familiar faces, and some new ones too!
I picked up some flyers about the Scottish Outdoor Club's place on Inchmurrin Island in Loch Lomond and would love to give it a go. I'm just not sure what it will be like. Has anyone been? Please share your experience, so that I can see if it's the kind of thing I'd like. Thanks!

UPDATE: The booking date seems to have been wrong! I just tried to book tickets, only to find out that they don’t go on sale until Thursday 19th April Apologies!

I've just got back from the swim at the Arlington and I can thoroughly recommend it to anyone who hasn't tried it. The organisers were lovely, the Turkish room is fantastic and everyone was really nice to me as a newbie. I will definitely try to get back again soon.
Aww, looking like it's going to be the tail end of May, before I get a chance to get through to the Arlington swim again 🙁
