Hi.

This has been on my bucket list for sometime but not yet managed it.

2018 is the year though i hope.

So how about a walk, preferably East Midlands as I live near Loughborough but can travel a little.

Would need to be weekends due to work or maybe a weekday evening if not to far to travel.

Here's hoping😃

If you're a couple in the Midlands and are under 50...say hi.

I have recently taken to walking by the River Trent on the Notts side near Gainsborough.  You can see for miles and there has never been anyone about, so I have simply stripped off and walked naked.  I reckoned that I would be able to see someone coming from a way off, so would be able to cover if necessary.  It would be nicer in company.

Sounds like a nice spot swimmer51.

Tad far for me on a week night as well over an hour and a half from work.

How busy is it at weekends?

I can't say, having never walked it at the weekend.  I take comfort from being able to see a long way. I always check out my walks on an OS map to make sure it is far from habitation, though cyclists and tractors can be a bit of a challenge.
