So in the midst of a snow white out whilst out walking with snow stinging my eyes I decided, as you do, that now would be a good time to take up naturism. A couple of days later I joined BN and within a week had posted my first naked pics, 'won a day' with the  most liked post and publicly committed myself to going on a swim evening at Sleaford.

So sat in my car outside the pool thinking, nobody is going to look. After ten minutes of this I got out, walked into the pool building, was very warmly greeted by the committee and shown around by one of the members. Disrobed in my cubicle and walked out .. literally within seconds felt so at ease.

For the next two hours I swam, went in the steam room and sauna and thoroughly enjoyed it. A really funny and friendly young couple made me so welcome.  Doing it again? Dead right I am.

I should also like to thank everyone within the Naturist community who helped and encouraged me, very much appreciated.

John

Well done John!

Hope you'll enjoy a long and happy naturist life from now on.

We are blessed to have nude swim sessions all over the country. Our climate makes this a must for those of us who like to swim naked. We go to a nude swim most Satudays in Chester. The sauna, steam and the other members make for a great evening.

I find doing a swim is the best way as once you are in the water you can just see heads. So its a very easy way to introduce yourself to naturism. I have been going to swims for a while now. everyone uses the same changing room its great but a bit strange at first

My wife and I find the need to use different changing rooms or silly little cubicles in a changing village most frustrating as we like to chat while changing.
Yet another advantage of naturist swims.

Having the one changing room at nude swims is so good. It would seem very strange having to split up to change and shower. We all have a good chat in the changing room at Chester either side of the swim.

We are new to this site and are not finding it easy or user friendly to navigate round it at all. In fact I think its designed to put you off as it did on our previous attempt. We will have to look around locally for a swim to go to as have not been to one yet. We have just been to the Maldives not nude at all unfortunately  except in our villa garden and Jacuzzi and would like to have a go at snorkeling somewhere naked of course. We will be going to Lanzarote in September to our normal place so will have a go there if possible.

Depending on your time available, etc. a trip across to El Cotillo on Fuerteventura would give you some reasonable snorkelling in the coves north of the village.

Thanks John it is our favourite place on Feurtaand we have been there  number of times. We were looking to see for the future if there are any Nudist apartments or villas naer the beach to stay in the future

We were in Lanzarote last year and I enjoyed a swim at Playas Mujeres, if you swim over the rocky outcrops the sea life is superb. Swimming naked in the sea is excellent and no swimming trunks to dry off. Just let the body dry in the sun. Swimming in the sea at Vera Playas was enjoyable but the sea life was not as good perhaps that was due to the sea not being as clear.

Cheers
Martin

My early nude swimming experiences were quite different to the usual adult ones. My school had an open-air pool which was open in the summer term only and always cold! But in the 1950s its filter system couldn't cope with wool from swimmies and so all swimming was naked. It was only when nylon swimmies were introduced that we all 'got dressed' for swimming. And so from age 8 to about 12 it was just normal to be nude with a load of other boys in our daily swims. So this experience has reminded me why I've never had any inhibitions about nudity because it was the norm that everyone took for granted.
