Been to Plakias 3 times it’s only a small place but really nice. It’s on the south side of the island which is far prettier than the north (my opinion) there is a couple of hotels there where you get a transfer. If you go self catering you will be better off renting a car, you will use it because there is a few naturist beaches nearby. Plakias beach is a fair size with the naturist beach at the far end 10-15 minute walk. When we have been there it has been 95-100% naturist soft sand warm water & mountains in the background paradise😎

We are currently on Santorini which is a stunningly beautiful island and as we are just before the busy season, it is nice and quiet. Still the temperatures are plenty hot enough at 26C.
Unfortunately the beaches here are black at the island is volcanic and lacking in nudist areas. It's nice by the pool but next year is like to visit another island for some all over tanning, Plskias sounds ideal.

it’s worth having a car too southern Crete has fantastic scenery. Plenty of photos on tripadvisor

Southern Crete is fabulous for naturism. We've visited Great nude beaches at Paleochora, Kedradasos, Frankocastello and Sfakia in the West as well as Souda, Plakias and Ligres further east.

Went to plasmas with Olympic holidays in 2003.
Naturist s were called Far Enders. Many naturist beaches nearby, had a lovely time. Micro amount was a totally naturist beach then. Think we caught land train to amount then walked to micro.
