Turns out that I now have a spare ticket for the Edinburgh Fringe show on the 21st August, as my friend can't make it. Any takers? (See one of my previous posts on this thread for details).

I'm not sure about the 20th, I'll confirm nearer the time. The good news is that I should be alright for driving myself through, so no more thinking about the long train journey, if I can't get a lift! Car sharing is always more enjoyable, and better for the environment though, but at least I'll be able to return the favour of a lift now 😀

We're still planning KinshaldyTentsmuir tomorrow. Hopefully getting there around 11am. Won't get to Arlington this weekend, family stuff on.

I hope everyone has a fantastic weekend, whatever you get up to! I’m unfortunately not going to make it to the beach as I have so much stuff to get done at home whilst we have good weather! SO frustrating, but needs must!
Still hoping to make it to The Arlington though, I just need to see how the weekend goes.

I know what you mean about frustrating Jane. in my last job I was usually on call so often we couldn't get to Kinshaldy when the weather was as nice as it is today.

We are heading off to Kinshaldy around 10:30 this morning to spend a few hours, first time this year. oHpefully you can get to a beach soon, you'll love it.

Dave, I hope it's as nice today as it was for your visits before you sailed.
