I didn’t get to do much nude walking last summer as we were busy moving house. However things are much quieter this year so am hoping to get out more.

We now live half way between Chesterfield and Mansfield so wondered if anyone had suggestions of local places that are quiet enough to enjoy some clothes free time - especially at weekends which will be my main opportunity.

Thanks!

Try Sherwood forest near Budby, the south forest area for a start and work yourself further from there as you become familiar with the area. you can park here on the side of the road. south forest parking

Thanks! I’ve read some of your posts about walks in that area. I’m surprised it isn’t too busy to spend any length of time nude, especially at weekends? What’s your experience? Are any areas more suitable than others?

If you chose more off main paths you can often meet no one for several miles.

Did recently have a little wander around Ramsley Moor, parking opposite Shillito Wood, which was very quiet even during a sunny weekend afternoon, just two unphased walkers passed. The woodland around the Foxlane Plantation is lovely to explore, although at longest any loop would be less than 2 miles.

Thanks! I'll give that a look next time I get the opportunity, and hope I fare better than you did on your last trip there. Sorry to hear about that encounter.

Thank you! I will give that a go too at some point soon!

I have also been able to explore a local woodland, just outside of our village. I managed a good hour long walk, and even found a field to do some naked yoga in on a sunny evening. Will definitely be trying that again.
