It was my first summer back home after my first year at University. I didn’t have a summer job to start with so had plenty of free time on my hands. My mum and step dad worked throughout the day, and as we had a very secluded garden, I decided to go completely naked and soak up the sun for a couple of hours. I’ll never forget the light breeze against my body. If felt very liberating.
Over the next couple of weeks, weather permitting, I spent more and more time outdoors and in wearing nothing but a pair of sandals. On one occasion after waking from a nap in the garden, I woke to a glass of iced water and a bottle of sun cream next to me. It turns out my step dad came home early. It was definitely an embarrassing moment for me back then, but at least he didn’t tell my mum. She is a right prude!!
A wonderful story, Susan, well done....despite being caught out ....it's sometimes part of the scenery that is...keep it up and enjoy the sun.

I assume by what you say, that the subject must have come up, for you to avoid it. Interested to know how it came up and under what circumstances being as your mum was a right prude. 😀

What I meant was that if somebody brought up the subject of naturism or if it was mentioned on the TV. I don’t mean me being naked in the garden was brought up again. Like I said, my mum is very much a prude so she would definitely have had a go at me if my step dad had told her.
Even now that you are an adult, married, not living at home anymore, your mother would be mad at you if she learn you are a naturist?

Dont blame you for just avoiding it. Some people will be OK /open to the idea and at least move on, with ohters its could be a big issue especially (perhaps) if older and set in their opinions. As far as we can tell, and I think we can, our wider families would for the most part not be OK with it.
