I'm already thinking ahead to next year , both my wife and I fancy revisiting the French campsite experience ( possibly up the west side of France from Santander to Caen  - or other way round ) . Late June / early July.
Can anyone recommend any naturist friendly sites that are small, quiet and wooded - ideally with swimming Pool / river / sea or lake.  Not really looking for laid on entertainment , just somewhere for us to chill for a few days and no obligation to be nude at all times.

Thanks  🙂

Hi, I know it's not strictly speaking what you're looking for, just about everything is wrong  :- but we can really recommend L'Olllivette in Caunes Minervois, near Carcassonne. Ted and Hun are great hosts, and have a "nudity normal" outlook. their website is all the W's handluggageholidays.co.uk We've been twice and really want/need to go back again  8)

Thanks, that does look lovely and we do miss France - we haven't been camping  since the Upper Ardeche in 2010 when the kids decided they were bored with it. Last few years we've been to Portugal, Vis, Hvar, Mljet and Crete twice, wearing progressively fewer clothes every time .
Now it's just the two of us, we're a lot more flexible . Emma's got some body confidence back and I think a small rural campsite (or gite) is a next logical step from the beaches of Croatia / Crete for us to be naked together outdoors.

You might like to try one of the family run sites in the Naturisme et Terroirs association of sites. They all tend to be quiet, and some of them such as l'Oliverie and Chateau Guiton are very small.

Good afternoon,

You could try Le colombier which is not too far from St Malo ferryport . This is as quiet as you want it to be. Ok for mrs goldi and I as we are teetotal . Then there is palletier in Brittany

Another vote for Columbier. Ticks all the boxes required. Excellent multi lingual friendly staff and not expensive either. 3 hours from St Malo or 4 from Caen
