I was out washing the motor home this afternoon ready for holidays next weekend, when my neighbor from across the street came running over full off excitement." Gary  let me tell you this one" laughing to himself. He had been talking to a guy at the end of the street who had trouble sleeping in the hot weather. It appears he was mooching about at 2 am the other morning and as he happened to glance out the window a guy walked by walking his dog and he was totally naked.
I was a bit caught of guard and replied smiling perhaps it's the same guy that's been seen up the forest.
I did feel a little bit of a traitor  to the cause but his reaction to the story was a bit off putting for me to be honest with him.
He then went on to say that the guy caught the naturist on CCTV. I didn't think it was allowed to film the pavement.
My wife says I'm not to do it any more.
didn't tell her the CCTV part though. Good job I'm away next weekend it will have all died down by the time I return. Did make me smile though.

If you do have CCTV recording public areas, even for domestic systems, you need to have signs up warning of it, with contact details and why it is there. You need to provide, if asked for, footage you may have of someone or allow them to view it. You should also register it with the Information Commissioner's Office. The new GDPR also has a say.

If he were to put it on line he could be in trouble with Data Protection Stuff.

There is more, too much for in a forum post. I'm involved with it through work with the local authority. Some days it's like playing hopscotch in a minefield.

A few years ago, My dad had a cctv camera overlooking his property to protect his workshop. There was an access road behind his property and one night, a caravan was stolen from a house which was served by the access road. My dad's camera picked up the passing of a vehicle towing the caravan, including its registration number and the recorded time of the theft.  The footage was handed to the police and the thieves were traced and the caravan recovered and returned to the owner.  The police were grateful for the footage, in that it was a major contribution to the recovery and prosecution of the thieves but my dad was also told that he must move the camera so that it only covers his property. It must not see beyond his boundary.

Anyone ever hear of dashcams?

How many of us ask permission to leave our dashcam running when entering a naturist resort or event?

Is it wrong to immediately think of the dashcam challenge? see how many dashcams you can get seen naked by?

Boundaries are there to be stretched!
