There is a lot of opportunity in the Redmires reservoirs area albeit a little further out towards the moors. If you lookup Oaking Clough Reservoir on google maps that would give you a good start. Parking at the main car park adjacent to the upper reservoir Oaking Clough can be reached in about 20 mins easy walking. From there it is possible to walk approx 2 kilometers towards Stanage Edge. Best to cover up once you get close though as it is usually busy with walkers and climbers. This area is my regular rambling territory. Most visits I never see anorher person from start to finish. Occasionally I do spot people at a distance but always with plenty of time to cover up. The views are stunning.

Had a lovely walk down Wyming Brook today. We chose it because it was a good option on a windy day, and also being mid-week very quiet. My partner commented on how there was no litter to be seen, surely a good indicator of a safe place to try a nude walk!

We walked about half-way down, and having only passed two ladies walking a dog right at the top, it seemed safe to go nude for a bit. I must say it's the first time I've walked in 13C and it felt marvellous, not at all cold, just super-comfortable. My partner remained clothed, and we pottered all the way down the brook and than back up. Only one dog walker encountered, and he cheerfully commented that he didn't think it was warm enough. Didn't quite walk all the way back to the car park as it was potentially a little busier there, so I got dressed at the stepping stones.

Would certainly do it again, with or without getting into the water. Delightful.

I've been to Wyming Brook on a few summer evenings and skinny dipped. I've usually walked down clothed and then got in, usually walking back to the car nude afterwards. From about 7 onwards it has always been pretty quiet.

And did another walk today, at Ramsley Moor. I started at Shillito Wood, crossed the road on to the moor, turned right at the bottom and as soon as I had a bit of tree cover from the breeze I was able to walk naked for about an hour, pottering down as far as the last gate and back again. My partner again had to take layers off on the walk back up, while I was just dandy.
Only one person met, a chap on a bike who said a cheery hello before I could.
Not the longest walk by any means, but for the time of the year, just about right for me.

Wyming brook isn't too far from me. Would be interested in trying it out. Arguably a bit dark for an evening ramble.
