I had a great experience in Whitford this summer.

I don't like to hide in dunes, as I am afraid to be caught and to be perceived as a pervert.

In Whitford, at low tide, I can walk close to the waterline and watch the far dunes. The wide and spacious beach allows one to see whether there is a textile around. Usually there are none.

Is there any other wide and deserted beach in Wales that enables one to spot people from far away, without hiding in the dunes?

cheers.

Monknash, miles of beach at low tide, and not one single dune, just very high cliffs. Not as deserted as whitford but you will have no issues wandering naked along the water edge here.

Thanks, Cian. I'll definitely check it next summer.

And this beach must be beautiful. I have never been there but, according to this video, it looks similar to Llantwit Major

Cool!

I brought this thread up because I met Cian in Monknash today!

Following the recommendation of Cian (see above) I discovered Monknash. I went there several times already. It is a great beach for naturists.

Today, while leaving the water I saw a young guy with a red beard and recalled that Cian described himself here exactly like that.
So I asked him whether he is Cian from this forum and he said yes.

We had a nice nude stroll and a chat together.

Thank you very much, Cian! it was nice to meet you.
Hope to see you again in Monknash.

Cheers, Ed.

We've recently returned to using Whitford for nude bathing. It really is the most beautiful of places but surprisingly lacking a regular naturist attendance. Yesterday despite it being glorious we were the only naturist couple on the beach, with the exception of two couples walking who randomly stripped naked for their lunch stop, then dressed and moved on.

We have often had a naked lunch on a Whitford Burrows walk. These days we don't go to the beach or for walks much as we now only have one good knee between us have a sufficiently private garden where we enjoyed a 4-course naked barbecue lunch yesterday.
I still have fond memories of naked exploring the remains of shipwrecks and the mussel beds exposed at low spring tide some twenty years ago in common with other naturists, textiles and families.

Been to Whitford today. Walked naked all the way to the lighthouse and stayed there 30 minutes.
A very special lighthouse with an interesting history. Apparently the only remaining cast iron lighthouse in the UK.

Saw no one except a Welsh government employee who parked the government's car on the beach and walked near the lighthouse with his dog.
