I wish I had the confidence to walk naked,
On our weekly walk last Sunday we found a nice quiet area with nice views, and discussed about it would be a nice area to walk naked, but discussing is one thing doing is another.

Just got back from another successful walk at 01:30 it was 17c, but with the wind it felt a lot cooler giving it a brisk walking pace I soon warmed up quickly. Nearing home I had to dodge one car as not to be seen, I don't think he saw me and if he did tough. 😉

What is he being charged with?  There is no such offencce as 'Indecent Exposure'  and the woman states that she was not bothered.  Of course the kids argument is trotted out again.

IMHO the police were right to attend as it looks like a case of mental disturbance for which temporary protective custody is appropriate.
I doubt if any charge other than depositing litter will be preferred.

Does look like he was in the town during the afternoon.,.... I would have thought most of us would avoid that scenario.,. Add in he was seen throwing his  clothes in the river it was bound to get attention from the police.

I went for a naked walk around where a I live at the weekend. I was out for about 2 hours in just walking shoes and socks. I left at midnight and it was quite warm for the time of year.

I've thought about doing this myself but how potentially might it be perceived someone seeing a man doing this as compared to a woman?

I wrote about this in my journal,
As a male point of view how would the police look at it against a naked female” the latter “her safety” verses a “male pervert” we all know that it legal to be naked in a public place so no law is being broken and seeing it is early hours of the morning and Joe Public are all in bed they can't use the public order offence. It would be interesting what would happen as long as it is not me being questioned.

I know Richard mentioned seeing an early morning police patrol, but in truth how often do the police patrol anywhere these days? They always seem to be in cars, so as long as one is wary of approaching cars it should be pretty low risk

Since my previous post, I have been doing a number of early morning cycle runs between 6 and 8 miles long heading out around 4am, mostly on cycle paths, but on roads as well, just to get a bit fitter and avoid the traffic danger.

After a couple of weeks of only seeing deer and foxes and occasionally a taxi and the odd van, the inevitable happened and I stuffed my clothes into the saddle bag and did a secluded part of the path nude. I didn't do it every day but of course the nude distance built up and I've now done both the 6 and 8 mile routes I use nude from house and back a number of times without any problems. The routes pass through secluded areas, industrial and housing estates, all deserted at this early hour.

I have been passed by vehicles rarely when on the road sections. Coming towards me from the  opposite direction, I stay on route but I have gone on to pavement behind a parked cars when being approached from behind, as it would be more obvious I was nude, to avoid any potential issues.

I've yet to see police on patrol on any of my cycle runs and only once while nude passed a pedestrian out jogging who appeared from behind a tree suddenly???? He said nothing and I wished him good morning as I passed.

This morning I couldn't sleep so got up early and the dog asked out. Off we went carrying just a couple of pooh bags and wearing trainers only.  A quick 15 minutes walk to the grassy exercise area and back, she's old and struggles to walk far now, but a very pleasant experience.

I don't know how many more of either I will do as it is getting colder up here. It is very addictive once you start doing these things nude so I'll try and squeeze a few more in.
I still carry shorts and T-shirt in my cycle saddle bag. One of these days I must leave them behind, it's not illegal after all,  but old habits, I know.

What!?? You get buses at 2am? That’s unheard of down my way. 🤔
