passing here today decided to stop off for a walk very surprised to see the sand on the beach at a 15-20 year high comparing with the level of the wooden defence Groins  nd:
weather not that good so no one elce on beach.
down side is that there has been further static caravans added to the campsite at the top  s:which could cause conflict

That must have been one of the last 'not so good weather' days this summer so you were unlucky I guess. I've been there a number of times since mid April and it's been the busiest in the 3 years I've been going to Corton.
It has been interesting to see how the winter storms ( Beast from the East 1 & 2) have changed to shape of beaches all along this coast and how they are slowly but surely building back up.
Hoping for another good spring and summer in 2019 and looking forward to many more nice days at Corton
