Another 2 am walk and first time at night photography

Great to see the local roads at night!

Boundaries are there to be stretched!

I went for a nude walk too last night. I went along a route I call the seven fields near where I live. Wasn't too cold and had on just socks and walking boots.

Did another nude cycle run at 4am this morning as it was nice and mild. A very pleasant 40 mins in total.

Actually saw two pedestrians today which was a surprise as I've only seen one in all the time I've been doing this.

Passed a dog walker and then someone getting into their car on the other side of the road a couple of hundred yards further on. Both did a double take as I cycled past but they said nothing and I just kept going.

Quite a few cars also passed going in the opposite direction but it was dark so I doubt they would have really noticed, but I took the cycle path when I got to it rather than stay on the road as it seemed 'busy'.

It hasn't put me off doing the ride nude but I did wonder why it was much busier than usual today. I was out at the my usual time and normally 2 or 3 vehicles is all I see. Ah well. 5C forecast for tomorrow morning so not likely to be a nude for that ride.

Richard1951, Vanessa and Robt51,

You are all so brave, I wish I could do that, but its so light here with the street lights in Southampton. It takes real courage when Vanessa goes walking in just boots and nothing else.
Do you find its infectious, the more you do, the more you want to do.  You dare yourself to go further and further each time, its a challenge to you.
Taking the first step as Richard and Rob describes must be difficult, but Vanessa seems full of naked spirit, walking without a care in the world and without anything to cover herself.  Be careful Vanessa, a nude lady walking the streets at night has potential risks.
Please keep us updated on your daring exploits, its so interesting to read.

Yes it is infectious, I went out this morning, but as I have a cold I just put on my longline sweatshirt, shoes and socks the air was cold, but walking fast I soon warmed up and wished I was naked.
Crossing a main road a saw what looked like a bike front light coming towards me, later three people on bikes passed me, they all looked elderly, very strange.
I think Vanessa is very brave not taking anything with her and I take my hat off to her (pun intended).
As I have said before if you do the walk clothed before then you will see who is about at that time, keep off main roads and stick to small estates they seem to be the quietest.
One of my streets I go on is so well lit up you could read a paper I kidd you not, but there is no one around and if you have something to put on quickly you'll be all right.

As Richard says, it is infectious. The first time was a bit scary but as you said Codge, the more you do it the more you want to do it.

It wasn't so much a challenge to go further, just a realisation that when I got back onto the lit section of roads and buildings, no one was around to see I was nude so I thought 'what am I doing getting dressed again?'

I pass about 10 houses on my way to green open space and cycle paths from my house before getting some speed up and this section was the last to do nude until I had done it so many times without seeing any neighbours I felt it was ok to do it. The LED lighting is on reduced light output early am at home or on the roads I use.

Doing this early am ride nude was not thought about when I started it a few months back, but seeing how deserted the streets were and a lot of the cycle paths were dark, the idea crept in and I tried it one morning on the dark parts, loved the experience and it grew from there.

WNBR is something I really want to do now but the nearest is several hundred miles away sadly so it may be a while before I can.

I agree Vanessa is doing it with style not taking anything to cover up with her.

I did the usual run on Friday early am but it was cold so did it dressed, didn't see anyone or any vehicles this time.

Did it again on Saturday afternoon (dressed) and found it a pain. Trying to cycle around pedestrians and dogs, some don't hear you comingringing bellcalling excuse me, as they are engrossed in their phones or are listening to music chatting etc, as they are perfectly entitled to do, and getting cut up by vehicles on the road made it a most unenjoyable experience, so I will stick to 4am for the peacefulness of it. I also found it very warm and like Richard, wished I was naked.

The weather tomorrow morning looks mild and dry so likely to be a nude one again. Might as well get them in before it gets really cold.

Hi Richard and Rob
Good to hear you latest posts, keep it up.  I'd love to do a late walk somewhere but my Wife would think I've gone mad 🙂

Would like to hear from Vanessa now.

Very tempting with the mild weather tonight, but not sure of the local area around the hotel.

Another successful naked walk at 01:30 this morning, it was 16c and did a slightly longer walk of three miles all without incident I'm glad to say.

I am so envious, I doubt if I could go 50 yards without being seen.

Rob, do you still ride or are you walking.

I did a 7 mile nude ride on Wed morning without a problem. I came face to face with a small deer on one of the unlit cycle paths. We just looked at each other about 5 yards between us, my bike lights probably half blinding it. It felt for a minute like being completely in touch with nature and I saw it again a bit further away on the return leg so I hadn't frightened it off.
It's been raining here the last couple of mornings (fair weather cyclist me)so I haven't gone cycling clothed or otherwise but might get the chance tomorrow morning, hopefully nude. I have done a couple of very short nude walks with our dog close to home but my nude walking tends to be on hills.

There must be some where in Southampton you could go, people do sleep.
