Managed to go on first naked walk and river dip during the hot weather in June, with a few others. It was a very enjoyable and liberating experience, although we were seen on a few occasions by clothed couples who were also out walking, their general reaction was more inquisitive than hostile. A happy memory of a truly great day enjoying nature without any problems being clothing free.
about 10 years ago on a bright, sunny and relatively warm October day I walked for a good 30 minutes or so naked around a big hill/small mountain (forgive me!) called Moel Siabod in Snowdonia near the nation Mountain Centre at Plas y Brenin. I'd built up a gap between a few walkers ahead of me when I stopped for my lunch. They were well out of sight and no one else following me so I stripped and walked naked but for my walking boots. Only when I got into the woods on the decent back toward the mountain centre did I encounter any other human life. I'd stopped to take a pee, walked a few yards off the track and had got my clothes ready to get dressed. A couple perhaps in their 60s, wandered slowly up the path toward where I was. Instinct said get dressed but a very full bladder had other thoughts so in the end I had little option but continue to empty my bladder as they drew level with me. Side on, they'd have seen it all but a friendly 'hi' from them both as they sauntered by made for a very relieved (!!) me. I didn't hurry to dress, although Im not sure if they looked back for a second glimpse, it was just so natural and the couple didn't seem at all bothered.

Just back from walking my local hills. It was a great morning. 13c, dry with the occasional spitting but a strong wind. Got to my usual spot and disrobed. After 45 mins I see a person in the distance and I carried on walking. About 400 yards away, I covered up with my sauna kilt and continued. When we met he said that he had seen me in the distance and could see I was naked. He just went on to ask questions. For 15 minutes we discussed the vagaries of weather, etiquette, legalities and his dog walking business. When we parted, he was more knowledgeable and I had his business card.
During the wonderful summer we have had, I managed a few walks beside the river. The towpath was very quiet, but a few boats passing on the water. Variety of reactions, most just waved, a few totally ignored me, and one or two actually stopped for a chat. As most people here have said, more positive reactions than negative
Managed plenty of naked walks this summer mainly in wales even though not had any close encounters on my last walk up the black mountains was spotted by an elderly man with a pair of binoculars l put on my shorts to pass him and he had a big grin on his face and commented that i was taking full advantage of the good weather he definitely knew what I'd been up to. Naked hiking is addictive just gutted its over now for this year roll on next spring!!
It doesn't need to be over yet. I manage a naked walk at least once and usually many more times every month of the year. Last year in the snow too.
It's surprising how once naked your body adjusts to the temperature and you feel warmer naked than you do lightly dressed.
Obviously you have to mindful of hypothermia but so far no problems for me.

I usually walk naked all year round. Just back from temperatures in Spain of nearly 30 degrees C it might take me a few days to start to acclimatise, I was out yesterday and it felt ok.
know what you mean. I was in Europe for 8 weeks and when I was out last Saturday it was a bit of a change in the weather, enjoyed it all the same though.
Had another 10 mile naked walk this afternoon. It was very windy but very warm. I had to dodge the odd falling branch. There weren't many people about, I met a lady with a dog in a remote spot but she was not phased. We had a few minutes chat and I fussed her big dog for a while. A cyclist passed me and I walked fairly close to 2 other couples. No problems. It was really enjoyable being naked in such strong winds especially as it was also warm.
