Hi all,

I charge £50 p/h. I can do 1 hour if within a 10 mile radius of where I live, otherwise it’s a minimum of 2 hours. I do have a career outside of this but really enjoy it as a part time business. It pays well, I get to be naked, and I really love meeting new people (often fellow naturists)
The agency that I sometimes work for charge a £30 booking fee each time and then pay me £45p/h.

Sue xx

The best of clothed domestic cleaners earn about £10 per hour, therefore unless you are five times better at cleaning than the best I suspect the extra £40 per hour is for taking your clothes off. When I work from home in the nude I don't expect my employer to pay me extra for that day as I don't require remuneration for being a naturist.

Strangely male naked gardeners and handymen advertising on this forum don't expect a premium for not wearing clothes, perhaps that's because they're genuine naturists.

...but if they did want to pay you extra for being naked at home, you are saying that you would turn the increase in salary down?

My career pays me to work at home and I am often naked. But like you, I don't get paid extra for being naked at home.

The agency is inundated with male applicants, and very little interest in the ones that are registered. The situation that we have here is Market Forces.

Of course there are going to be men that are voyeuristic. But that's the same as when I go to the beach. As long as they are respectful then who am I to doubt their naturist motives.

Whatever the reasons are, there are a lot more men willing to offer their naturist services.

In our part of the country we cannot get any sort of cleaner for £10 per hour let alone the best and it doesn't seem unreasonable to us for a naked cleaning service to be more expensive. Our cleaner at £20 per hour has four or five clients a day five days a week, we doubt that there would be that degree of demand for a nude cleaner. Naked gardeners are also more expensive in the south at least. We hope that Sue's business doew well.

We know of two people who are self employed cleaners, both charge 20 per hour but they are lucky if they have more than two to three clients per day.

I very much doubt either would consider cleaning in the nude even for £50.

According to StevieLorna the going rate for a cleaner is £20 per hour. If I were to engage the services of a cleaner I wouldn't care if they dressed like Mrs Overall, in a party dress or in nothing at all provided the cleaning was done satisfactory.

For someone to pay £30 over the going rate for a naked cleaner I would suggest that the cleaning aspect of the service is secondary to the enjoyment of seeing a naked woman. Surely the service that is actually being provided more closely resembles a stripper than a cleaner.

Naked cleaning has absolutely nothing to do with naturism, on the contrary instead of nudity being seen as natural it is fulfilling a client's fetish. I have no idea why genuine naturists are supporting it.

Ill go ahead and remove you from my list of potential clients  😛

I didn't get into this because I needed the money. I have a separate career which I am more than happy with. I got into this because I love meeting new people, and above all, meeting new people while I am naked. The going rate at this time happens to be £50 p/h and I am getting enough new clients and plenty of interest to suggest this fee isn't too high. Again, this is Market Forces in action.

From my experience, some of my clients have chosen my service because they want to share a feeling of naturism with another in their own surroundings, the cleaning is secondary. I am rarely able to practice naturism with other like minded people and so it is a nice opportunity to meet others at the same time as working.

The idea that you are naturist or a stripper suggests a very black and white style of thinking, our world has many shades of grey and there is a sliding scale for nearly all things in life. There are female feminist collectives of strippers that do life drawing that is sold out every single week; bringing art to stripping, there are many shades of opinion to accepting this world of nakedness.

Are certain people implying that it is wrong for a naturist to respectfully enjoy the site of another naked person ? I for one can not go with this.
If the lady enjoys her naked cleaning service and as she has already stated she has always been treated well and with courtesy what is the issue ?
Also if someone enjoys the practice and is willing to pay for the pleasure what is wrong with that. There appears to be some very narrow minded Victorian views about.
We often condem textiles for their narrow minded opinions.

We have no problem with cleaning in the nude, we do it ourselves that way.

We did think about getting a cleaner in once a week as we both work, but it would be pointless to have a naturist cleaner as we’d want it done while we were at work.

It seems that the general tone of comment on this thread is cautionary rather than critical. I hadn't considered that for some naturists having a cleaner who is a naturist might be a great way to share the experience. Amazing that demand seems to be quite so high. We have to be guided by what seems to be a largely positive range of experiences by Susan_B.

Having read Susan-B's positive experiences I will be messaging a true naturist lady friend who has expressed a serious interest in commencing a naked cleaning service. She will be very happy to consider Susans words as any help and information can only assist her curiosity. So thanks Susan, my friend lives and works in the Essex area so no competition lol. . .

If this comment was directed towards me then I fail to see how a social naturist sitting naked typing this post can have Victorian views. What I do have strong views about is showing naturism in a positive light which is why I have conversations with all of my employees and the majority of my friends and family about how much as a family we enjoy our naturism adventures. Naturist cleaners on the other hand simply reinforce the misconception by the general public that naturism is somehow sexualised and a source of titillation.

With a little research on the internet I found the Naturist Cleaners website, an article by an investigative journalist who had engaged the services of a cleaner via the site and a comment by Andrew Welch.

The image at the top of the Naturist Clenaers blog says all that needs to be said about the type of client the site is trying to attract. Text then continues to describe your cleaning experience.

The obvious draw of nude cleaning is to have a beautiful woman or man to admire as they clean your home. (Why not just give them a list of tasks and let them clean.)

You don’t need to feel ashamed or embarrassed for watching our gorgeous cleaners. (Watching to see if they are cleaning correctly, I think not.)

The website's tags for SEO purposes include words/phrases such as 'erotic', erotic cleaners', 'sexy'. So much for naturism being a non sexual, non erotic activity.

This is what Andrew Welch thinks.

“This is not naturism. If you’re doing a job, the job is the most important thing. What you wear is secondary. And what this is doing is putting the lack of clothing as the focus.

“One does wonder about the motivation of somebody that would say come and clean my house but I’d prefer it if you had no clothes on.

“It just seems odd to add something rather unnecessary. You wonder what [the company] is really all about. If they called themselves nude cleaners that’s fine. It’s this whole naturism tag."

It would appear that naturism has become a pay to view commodity.

The journalist described how he selected his cleaner.

"From a line-up of six available women, I booked 25-year-old Alia, size eight, for two hours. From a photo taken in a full-length mirror, clothes strewn on the floor around her, she had porcelain white skin, brown hair past her backside and the body of an avatar."

Andrew again: "actually being able to pick a girl says it all really. Her hoovering may be awful but she’s got great legs.”

So a naturist's body type doesn't matter unless of course a certain type is being paid for.

The journalist's cleaner who used to clean clothed said all her clients were now single men and none had a list of what cleaning they actually wanted doing. When clothed she was left to clean now she is watched at all time, well the client needs to get his money's worth.

The cleaner also described 'customising'. Some include no body hair, hair tied in a certain manner or wearing sexy underwear.

The cleaner also says; “If a client wants me to clean in a particular position so he can see more, something a little bit sexy, that’s fine.”

I genuinely have no problem with how people use their bodies to make money, we live in a liberalish society. xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

I don't generally take any notice of comments but this following another article I found summed it up for me.

"I wish they would just be honest about it as a service. It’s nothing more than titillation & kink. If it wasn't, like other cleaners she’d have a to do list and just get on with it in the background until payment. That the punters watch her all the while, tells me that there’s nothing ‘naturist’ about it."

Tricky issue this one, we seem to have two versions of this 'naturist' cleaning service, one is obviously about titilation and voyeurism, the other is apparently about social nudity. I think for most reasonable people it is difficult to envisage the second one being the primary reason most clients are willing to pay £50ph, perhaps there are exceptions, wealthy and possibly somewhat lonely naturists, but really how many can there be?
(I'm somewhat with nudelycouple on this one.)

Perhaps we shouldn't single out any one person or job, because really this does raise questions over the entire naturist services section of the website. Most of the posts look innocent enough, but they are nearly all two or more years old, with very few replies or interest shown in them - perhaps because paying someone to be naked while doing a job for you is, unavoidably, a little bit strange even for people who enjoy social nudity. Indeed if we had a count I'm sure it's something the majority of naturists would not do, we'd probably just want to find somebody who can do the job well at reasonable price - clothes or not.
So, instead of being useful it's as if this part of the forum has just sat there waiting for an argument like this to crop up over the, let's say ethics, of monetising nudity, which could get unpleasant for those who choose to do it and still call it naturism.

[admin]If you feel that the 'Naturist Services' section is not useful and then please feel free to post your view in the Feedback or Suggestion section of NC in consideration of scrapping it and we'll give it some thought. Otherwise please let's not let this topic drift [/admin]

I am sure we here all want naturism to be seen in a positive light. It is reassuring to hear that you are talking to some of your friends and family and to your employees about enjoying your naturism adventures as a family, its how naturism becomes normalised from the ground up.

Your post does appears very targeted and directed at a naturist cleaning company hence people choosing certain women etc rather than naturist cleaning per se.

I am a naturist cleaner working for myself wanting to clean for other naturists

Sorry, I just don't get it.

I have a cleaner who I pay £12 per hour (£2 more than she asked for). She does a great job and I would hate to lose her.

Should she choose to work naked (she wouldn't) it would be ok with me simply on the grounds that I would not have to remember to dress on the mornings she comes.

£100 for a couple of hours? You must be joking!

[Edit just noticed it's an old post... Apologies never saw it originally.]

Well done.

I used to do PT naked cleaning in salford/manchester a number of years ago, it was a great hobby, a close second to life modeling. Both are great ways of meeting people. Every customer was lovely. Stopped both because of work commitments.

Good for you that you have gone self-employed and absolutely you should charge more if you are providing a niche service.

The reason why male cleaners and gardeners charge less is that the market isn't there. And some are so desperate to do it that they undercut sensible pricing of the many too much thus resulting in a race to the bottom for all. (pardon the pun.)

I do have more time on my hands now, if anyone would prefer a male cleaner or gardener in Manchester or Cheshire am happy to do it for some gin & prosecco money rather than a bottle of Vueve Cliquot.
