Hi I just wondered what the interest would be if a 'Naked Ramblers Group' was set up on the bordering areas of North Yorkshire Moors National Park, North Pennines and Northumberland National Park to start with, any feedback most welcome.

Hi Davey B,

Quite happy to join you in having a ramble in the country, especially in warmer months, would be great if there were more willing to join and enjoy the natural beauty of the area.

There are a number of walking groups on facebook. I have no idea how active each group is but you can find them here

The naturist ramblers operating in the southeast are a well regulated group with good organisation, safety in mind and are a BN member club. A typical walk will attract 25 plus members.

I can only echo Davie’s comments regarding Naturist Ramblers. This was formed from the walking group of the Singie Outdoors Club a few years back and arranges 15-20 walks a year around the south east. The walks have been established over many years and there is a changing schedule each walking season.

I’ve been on many walks with them over the years and they are always enjoyable.

Thanks for that useful link, Davie .. We did not know about the Snowdonia and N Wales group and have requested to join accordingly.

Pleased its been a useful link for you. I was born and bred in North Wales and if I still lived there I'd be joining a Snowdonia group. I do find the Berwyns a reasonable distance to travel for a good days walk.

We have often free-hiked in the Rhinnogs for up to 9 hours, with nice skinny-dipping too.

No. We start from near Llyn Trawsfynydd dam, with choice of two routes, one staying lower but the other linking high-level rocky pavements ..

I organise a group of ramblers in what I call the mid-Yorkshire area - Leeds, Doncaster etc. Did a few walks last year and hoping for more this year. A few textile walks during the cooler months. If anyone interested in being added to our mailing then get in touch.

Life’s too short. Do it today!
