I would consider walks in Durham & Northumberland. I walked on north and south sides of Selset reservoir last year, lovely area.

I'd like to walk Selset sometime it's a bit more open than Tunstall did you happen across any textiles and where did you manage to park.

I walked the south side of Baldershead reservoir year before last. Quite pleasant. Didn’t see anybody else.

First time at Selset I parked at the main car park on the north side, only a couple of men fishing and a few dog walkers but they didn't go far past the woods, I walked from there to the west end of the reservoir. You can open the gates and drive over the dam and park at the south end, never saw anyone there.
