Further to my earlier post, Ivan came up trumps with a share for the full six nights. I look forward to meeting up with several people.

Just back from the Gathering and six days of non stop fun in Dunoon. The event has really helped to normalise naturism. This year we could walk outside the hotel without clothes, we went into the glen alongside and we did a number of walks in the vicinity. On one walk we met a school party. One went forward, covered to explain and the kids were moved along but without any problems but there was some giggling!

In a nearby forest we walked naked and a sign had been put up ADVISING not warning that naturists would be using the forest.

I stopped for petrol and the guy on the till asked if I'd enjoyed my walk and wished us all well.  The organisers liaise with the Police not to ask permission but to prevent any misunderstandings. One naturist handed in some property he'd found and was asked (perhaps tongue in cheek) why they were still dressed.

Real results

yes it was brilliant and it could be like that everywhere if we all talked to the police. It was me who talked to the school teachers with the kids. They showed no signs of alarm or distress but there was plenty of joviality.

I too went to Dunoon. It was my very first time there and indeed to any organised event. I couldn’t believe the fun that I had and the feeling of friendship with fellow naturists. Everyone made me feel so welcome. I met so many nice people but I didn’t get to meet every one and thus I would love to hear from anyone to whom I spoke and those I didn’t so that we can keep in touch and indeed hopefully meet up if we live in the same area. On another site, I have been chatting with a lovely married couple and this weekend we finally met up, in the flesh as they say. We are now planning to met up again and thus are true friendships born.

It's the BN Scottish Weekend  held annually at Dunoon in a hotel which attracts people from all over the country. It sells out well before the event (this year seven months ahead)
It's for BN and International Naturist Federation members only - I hear that there have been enquiries from abroad for 2020 already.

Yorkshire and East Midlands Region of British Naturism"THE LODGER" now published on Kindle - another story from Knightsthorpe

We’re going for the first time this year, too!  Looking forward to it immensely, have also just booked for the forest walk and naked pub lunch, as we’re staying for the full 6 nights.

Moderation is good, just don't overdo it!

If you like walking naked I can take you out for some walks from the hotel if it is warm enough for you. I have walked the area naked for several years. One year I negotiated with the cycling club who sometimes use the whole area so that we could walk naked freely amongst the cyclists and the locals are used to seeing us naked.
