I'm planning to go for a trip through Europe this summer - I don't know exact timing yet and I want to mix relaxing on a naturist camping (car + tent) with a sightseeing. I don't have any specific route or places to see planned - I just want to go wherever I want at a time 😀
Is this possible to do? Can I just got to the campsite and book a pitch or do I have to book it in advance? Do I need a BN or INF ID on most of the campsites? I'm planning this trip in July (high season I'm afraid!)
TIA
We had a trailer tent from 1983 to 2006 and never pre-booked any French camp sites, naturist or textile and never got turned away because they were full. This included holidays during school holidays until my wife retired.
We always used the French Camping Club's book of all the camp sites in France which included all naturist ones as well as those limited to particular sections of society (e.g. employees of EDF).
This is now also available on line at https://www.campingfrance.com/uk and used to be searchable for naturist sites but I can't find it now.

Thank you John, I appreciate it!
Do you know about Croatia? I know it's a very popular destination so in high season campings could be 100% full

If you want any information about Croatia then you are in luck, because the Croatian ambassador is a member of this site, but on here she goes under the pseudnym of Brigitte

Thanks devman!
Will I be allowed to enter most of the campings without INF ID?

BN membership will give you IFN membership, will add only a tankfull of fuel to your total trip costs and will guarantee your bona fides to any naturist site or centre.

If I was really the ambassador, I'd like a bigger expense account.
Nice! I am an expert! But to be fair I am not 100% sure. We have visited both Valalta and Koversada as daytime dossers in June and late August and there were empty pitches evident. Both are certainly very popular. I can't speak for the others. If you are able to book, I would probably err on the side of caution because Croatia, especially with negative publicity on some other destinations, is extremely popular. High season is mid July to mid August so if you are early July that might be OK.

Except for mid August I think you can find the place for a tent everywhere
