I went for a 7.5 naked walk today, left everything in the car except for the sandals I wear, the weather was very kind with a fair amount of sunshine, lovely and warm. Mondays are very quiet and I only saw one young couple who giggled and said hello and a guy with a dog, the guy just said jokingly look out for any nettles.

I have just returned from a 23 mile naked walk. I saw very few people. At one point I tried to cross the bottom of a hay field which had just been cut and the tractor was collecting it up. As soon as he saw me he came zooming over to me on his tractor. I just said hello and smiled as usual and he said you cant come across here its private land. So I apologised and said I would go back. He then said you cant walk around naked its illegal. So I spent the next 15 minutes educating him and he seemed satisfied. Still didn't want me to carry on at the bottom of his field, I had to back track and find another way.

I have been out every evening this week, was caught in the rain again last night, becoming a habit that.
Tuesday evening as a entered a particular part of the forest after a bit of a clearing the Sun was going down behind the nearby hills (insert pit tip here.)
and the entire forest was glowing red, the tree trunks looked beautiful in a red hot glow. At first I thought there was a forest fire, I stood motionless for few seconds working out what I was seeing. I gave in to the urge and leaned against a tree  soaking up the heat of the setting sun.

Just returned from a 2 and a half hour walk. Parked up just before 8 pm, temperature read 27 degrees. Returned to car and temperature was still 23 degrees, at 10.20 pm. Just had a quick shower of rain and now sat on back garden writing this.
Only saw to older gents sat on a bench watching the world go by, not at all phased by my attire, or lack of.
Plenty of dear about tonight, dog will have bloody ticks again, no doubt.

Had a nice 7 mile naked walk today, temperature wasn't a problem as there was a nice cooling breeze. The place was deserted again although I did meet a couple and a group of 4 people. Everyone happy, stock phrase today from me. Wow you are brave to be walking with your clothes on when it is so hot.

I went out this evening at 7.30 pm. It was to hot for the dog so was only out for a hour.
Last night I was out for two and a half hours and saw a cyclist and a couple walking into the forest at gone 10 pm. was getting dark so don't know where they were off to. Then again there always seems to be some one out what ever the time.

Hi Gildo

Thanks for the reply.

I don't tend to check on here too often. And with young children I have to plan in advance unfortunately.

Yes, I've been to the Edwinstowe swim in the past, PC, prechildren and liked it. Will get back there one day but for now day time trips to Telford Club are the easiest for us.

Back tot the walks are there any planned for 10/11th August as I can be free for a few hours on one day.

Thanks
David

If you're a couple in the Midlands and are under 50...say hi.

Yesterday Rob and I had just finished an 8 mile walk at Budby South Forest during which we encountered 3 other naturist walking the area.  We returned to the car at about 4.30 pm. As we were getting into the car a man got out of his car and came over to us in an aggressive manner, we did not approach him, he said that we shouldn’t be out walking naked and he found it offensive. I explained that we are naturists and that we weren’t doing anything wrong as it is not illegal to be naked, he took his phone out and pushed it into my face telling me he had a photograph of me and aimed it at the car number plate and said he was going to phone the police. I told him to phone the police now but he wouldn’t. I asked him why he was being so nasty and aggressive as other people I meet do not behave in the way he was behaving, they are happy to say hello and chat. He just kept saying he found it offensive. I told him that he was being disrespectful to my legal lifestyle and if he thought it was illegal he should phone the police and they would confirm that it is not illegal. As he started to walk away I wished him a pleasant walk and told him that he may encounter some more naturist during his walk because there were at least three other naturist out walking. As he walked away he kept saying I am a very tolerant person but I don't want to see anyone's knob.

I think perhaps he needs to consult the dictionary.

That is sad. I do hope that after he walked off he reflected on his attitude resulting in a broadening of his mind. I guess it was not appropriate at the time to point out that most people talking to each other tend to look at their faces!!

Only happy when naked

I think perhaps he needs to consult the dictionary.

I think he needs to consult a handbook on etiquette and common courtesy.

I thought Sherwood Forest folk were more polite than this. Sorry to hear of this unfortunate incident, Gildo.

Unfortunately you come across someone like this occasionally, its a numbers game. I meet hundreds of people while naked. Its inevitable. You just have to get over it and carry on regardless.
