Anyone able to recommend any good quiet places around Manchester for a naked walk? Maybe a 20-30 mile radius. Also if there's anyone in the area who'd be interested in meeting up for a walk please do let me know 🙂

There is an area just North of this small car park:
https://www.google.co.uk/maps/@53.4817442,-1.9429472,141m/data= !3m1!1e3 (better to use satellite view)

- it's pretty deserted, most of the time.  There is a huge expanse of moorland to go at.

The top road along the woods is public, the lower roads are private - with lots of barbed wire that is easy to circumvent.  Just sayin'

If you are near the Bolton side of Manchester you could try Delph Brook off Stones Bank Road. I have been down there a few times. It is similar terrain to where AndrewG suggests, open moorland and woodland.

I have done Black Clough a few tones now.

There are three, of which Near Black Clough is almost never used by the public as it is quite difficult to find the path. Middle and Far get a lot of use though.

I enjoy Near BC wearing only a pair of water shoes, with all my gear in a waterproof rucksack, or you could just line a regular rucksack with heavy duty bin bags. I then wade through the water and climb all of the cascades.

The water is pretty high at the moment, it's pretty dramatic.

I don't mind leading a tour of people wish to join, though I'm not free until 8th sept.
