I stayed in the appartments next door several years ago before the highway was built out the back. It was a bit of a treck to walk to the beach and get to an area away from the urbanisation. However there is a good bus service along the coast to enable you to get to some of the quieter beaches if you so wish. I havn't been back as I prefer El Cotillo in the north which is so laid back it is an effort to leave.  I suppose it all depends on what you want from your stay.
