My partner and I are heading to Fuerteventura next week for ten days of R and R !!..We are hoping to have some quality time au naturel and would love to hear of fellow naturists experiences and recommendations of best parts of the beaches to visit. We don't want to be totally isolated and would like to be in the vicinity of like minded people.( maybe chat to some if the occasion arose..)We are about 300m from La Playa de Butihondo beach if that helps....many thanks..

We stayed at Magic Life Hotel a few years ago and walked that beach. As quite a few Germans there nudity was commonplace. Fuerteventura is great for naturism. We generally go to Corralejo or El Cortillo as closer to airport. Avoid Caleta de Fusta as full of Brits and very textile 😢😢
Hi
thanks for the info...much appreciated. We are rather excited about this holiday and for the first time ever, we are more excited about what we are not going to wear than what we need to take to wear!! HaHa!!

weve stayed in esquinzo several times. you can walk several miles from esquinzo eastward along the coast towards costa calma without bothering about what youre not wearing.
theres a beachside car park in the corner of esquinzo oposite a wee spar where its perfectly possible to lock everything in the car boot whilst you go for a hike along the beach carrying nothing but the car keys.
theres also a cliff top carprk at mal nombre to access the beach further along where theres less people about.
have a look on google earth.
Hi
Many thanks...appreciated...will check it all out when we're there.. 🙂

The whole of the Sotavento Coast is great for naturism. Enjoy.
Ahh...lovely...sounds fab...thanks

Corralejo is brilliant....coming from the south just park on the road when you see other cars parked, you then are almost on naturist beach. We found a suitable lava hole to protect against the wind then walked for a couple of miles along the beach. The sea is good fun but take care quite an undertow. Some textiles share the beach but the atmosphere is all very friendly.
Thanks, that sounds rather fab too. Is this the place where there are 'lagoons' presumably filled with sea water??
One life...live it !...there is no rehearsal!
Lagoons are just north of El Cotillo which is the far north west of the island
Quite fancy the idea of a leisurely naked float in a large rocky paddling pool!!

Well...what an amazing place and what a lovely time we had...with just one exception, nothing to do with naturism or holidays but my aged mother passed away while we were away!! :'(
She had been ill for some time and we knew it was coming but not so soon..
Members of the family held the fort until our return...I had previously mentioned cancelling but she had insisted we go and have a good time and so we honoured her wish..
Thanks to all those who forwarded suggestions and information about the area around 'Esquinzo - Butihondo beach' and elsewhere. We stayed at the Alua Village hotel which I would highly recommend. It had been refurbished in early 2019 and met our needs superbly.
It is not a naturist hotel but the beach, which was just 5 to 7 min walk away was amazing! We spent every day bar one ( too much sun!!..tut tut!..should have been more careful!) au naturel, amongst a population of beach goers 90% of whom were naturists like us...it was just wonderful and so relaxing which, given the circumstances, was just what was needed.
In the course of our ten days we explored beaches and coves up to 6km away to the 'north' and equally the same to the 'south' where on two occasions we walked the 6.4Km to Morro Jable.
This was the first time my partner had experienced naturism on this level and although on the beaches in front of the hotels frequented by more family orientated people and textiles, we respectfully covered up, once passed those places we were away again!!...utterly, utterly liberating, relaxing, anxiety releasing, stress busting and suntanningly fabulous !!
We loved the fact that it was not too touristy or built up, the stunning scenery was to our taste and as a bit of a 'sciencey geek', the rock structures and volcanic variation were quite something to look at close up...but it was the beaches, the sea and the sunnnnn that really made it for us and was just what the doctor ordered!...and did we both get an all over tan or what!!!???...yep, we did!!!
We are already thinking about returning in perhaps Feb or March..Im starting to look at posts about other people's experiences visiting this time of year to see how it compares with the October time frame...for us, this suited us perfectly but hope early in the year can be equally enjoyable..( I'm tempted to put a pic or two up...better check she's ok with it first!! 😉 )

March is a good time to go sunchaser2 jan & feb can get cool on a night but in March Its warm enough to go out in a shirt at night. We go twice a year in March & October
Wish someone would invent a body iron
Hi guys
Hmm..yea..makes sense but am not sure I can wait that long..lol!!..
The experience was sooo good am checking the weather forecast for here in the UK in the remotest hope we get a 'mad' couple of days warm enough to go to Studland or somewhere sometime soon!! ( like those crazy warm couple of days we had in Feb, earlier this year!)

Thought I'd bump this thread, as we have just booked to return to the area. Our favourite area, staying at the Royal Palm.
After this long lock down and no travel we are both pretty desperate to get away to the sun. I think this time my wife is eager to get naked!!! (not really a naturist). Either way she is supportive, asking to carry my shorts for me last time. (4 years ago 🙁 ..... Later confessing to being jealous of my 4-5 hour naked trek with her.
I have walked (naked) north for miles, past the sailing club and beyond to where the lagoons start. Was expecting to cover past the hotels or the sailing club, but when a saw a family of 4, with 2 young kids all naked at the sailing area I figured know one was bothered so I walked on past.
By then I didn't care too much and even mingled with a few textiles as we made our past each other. Chin up and keep walking 🙂
Going south at a couple of places at the start can get a bit narrow and congested, so I've stripped off just after and gone on down to the light house area.
We love the hotel, it's adults only, though only the Spa is signed as no costumes. It has large spa facility and terrace and pool. Which only few people ever seem to use, as most are around the main outdoor pools. So often we have it nearly to ourselves and take advantage of being costume and towel free, wife included. Right on the cliff edge they have 4 poster day beds to rent, nearly always some free and again as it's not by the pools or over looked I've gone naked on them as well.
They also have an excellent bookable restaurant.
Booked for early October, for 10 days, can't wait it's been a few years since had chance to be free. Might see if I can find some inland naked trekking as I managed in La Gomera a few years back.
