Hi all,
I usually manage at least 1 hour walks a week in the summer near Hockwold and was wondering if anyone knew any other walks or would like to join me. I usually go Friday afternoons and sometimes Monday afternoons. I have seen some people and come face to face with at least 3 people all whom politely said hello and carried on their way.

A bit late in the year for me, was out yesterday but I think that will be the last of the year. Perhaps next spring.

Following without interest. I’d love to find some safe naturist walks around east Norfolk/ north Suffolk

Managed to get my first naked walk this year. Just over an hour long on Saturday morning lots of cars parked about but only saw one man and his dog, not from the TV show, and one guy who passed me on his bike. We just kept our distances and exchanged greetings. Pity the weather's making a change for the worse but I only think it's fora bout a week.

Already managed a few free hikes in Norfolk this year. The best, yesterday was a combination of hiking and cycling. There is a byway that leads across open country for a few miles from West Acre to Gayton Thorpe. From there a permissive path covers a few more miles towards the Peddars Way. Some are deep sand so not suitable for my road bike, some firm track. Only had one human contact, this was whilst cycling, very positive good morning and in a moment I was passed. I think cycling is easier in this regard as the time for contact is so much shorter. by the time anyone realizes you are naked you have gone.

Great naked walk today in Thetford forest, only an hr but with the sun shine made it very special. Been going about 10ish on weekdays when not too many people about

A long time ago, before I was brave enough to strip off but always wishing I could, I got my first tick bite in Thetford Forest. There didn't seem to be any worries back then (about 1980) about Lyme Disease, and I had no ill-effects, but I'd guess you need to give yourself a thorough inspection after a walk there nowadays.

Whereabouts in the Forest as I may look into going there one day

Note sure where route 29 is, but I've walked the east part of The King's Forest - the southerly bit of Thetford Forest.  It was pretty quiet.  That was last year though.

You can see which paths are busy here (note - not foolproof!):  https://www.strava.com/heatmap#13.59/0.67295/52.33441/blue/all

@steveinthet

Are you likely to be there tomorrow as I was thinking I may take a trip down to have a look round and it would be nice if I knew someone else was there as it would be my first time in the open countryside
