Hi folks
I’ve been attending Eastney beach Portsmouth, and Hill Head beach fareham, for some years now and have started to notice a few familiar faces over the years with a friendly acknowledgment, while I tend to keep myself to myself I can’t help noticing a community spirit.
I was wondering if there are any locals to these beaches who use this forum just to put a name to a face and give some discussion or opinions to our wonderful beaches
Thank you
Never been to Eastney beach, but do go to Hill Head, but I have noticed most if not all keep themselves to themselves so I do the same, sad world ain't it.

Probably because they don't want to be associated with the gay soliciting that happens at some nude beaches - but that probably needs to be taken to another topic.

Do not do unto others as you would that they should do unto you. Their tastes may not be the same.

No John I wouldn't say that's the reason at all Hill Head is a quite busy with dog walkers and holiday makers and most of them are aware that naked people may be there although it is not a legal nudist beach, some of them will smile and say morning/afternoon ect, I don't know if that is to say to friends later “I spoke to a naked man.......”, but as said before most nudist don't want to communicate.
Do you have map references (what3words ?) for parking and suitable naturist locations ?

Ha ha
just found this on my fishing forum
Took a 2 hour walk along the beach this morning with a spinning rod from the beach huts to Brownwich Lane and back. In total 12 Bass. 10 very small, 1 about 2 lb and 1 3 lb (dinner tonight). All caught within 10 ft of the shore just before high tide.
Popped back today for a couple of hours at high tide. 2 small bass in far from ideal conditions. Also, more naked men sunbathing than was necessary! One of whom, who was naked from the waist down enquired if "I'd had any luck"!
i tend to use meon shore, (depending.qualified.found) rather than hill head.
You can park at Titchfield Haven (radar.regrowth.contrived) and walk along the beach but you'll probably have to stay dressed, or you can park at Badgers Copse ( ooze.boomers.positions ) and walk across the fields to the beach, This can (and often is by some) be done naked.
Boundaries are there to be stretched!
Hill Head, you're bringing back memories of my childhood. I was a kid living in Gosport between the age of nine to sixteen, which would have been in the sixties and early seventies, so I knew the area reasonably well.
As a group of boisterous school kids we would cycle along the coast and eventually end up At Hill Head, or sometimes it’s called Meon Beach. We never had any swim suits or even a towel with us, but that didn’t stop us going for a swim. We usually went in naked, but a few who were shy wore their Y fronts, and the girls had no problems stripping off either.
Today we’d call it skinny dipping, those days it just going for a swim or splash about, which you done in the nude.
I doubt Hill Head was a naturist beach in the late sixties, and I don’t expect we would have known much about naturism either.
Obviously I know its naturist beach now, and this summer I took Louise down there, so I could show her some of the places where I enjoyed my misspent youth. We went to Hill Head parked near the beach huts and walked for about half a mile hoping to find a naturist or two. What we found was three or four families of textiles, dog walkers and loads of sailboard enthusiasts. We sat on the beach for a while, watching this guy continually pace up and down the beach, which didn’t make us feel that comfortable about stripping off, so we left a little disappointed.
Another beach I used to go to in my youth was Stokes Bay, and after school a crowd of us used to go down there on an old provincial bus that terminated near the beach. In those days there was an old disused pier, which was near a fort called Gillkicker, and this is the area us kids would aim for, because it was as far away as we could get from sensible adults. We’d strip off naked, hobble over the pebbles and dive into the sea to cool off, while the braver kids would climb the pier legs and dive into the water. Great childhood memories.
So this was another place I wanted to show Louise. Sadly the pier has long gone, but we walked along the beach to Gilkicker fort, and just behind the fort we found to our surprise a few naturists. We didn’t need an excuse to nip back to our camper and get some towels, sun cream and food. We joined them, and were soon chatting to one of the couples, who explained that they felt uncomfortable at Hill Head, because it was getting to busy with textiles, sailboarders dog walkers and weirdo’s. They said they preferred Gilkicker Point because it was quiet and reasonably private. We agreed with them, and enjoyed the rest of the day, as we watched the Isle of White ferry go back and forth, as it weaved its way through loads of little colourful sailing boats that zoomed about in the Solent.
Maybe Gilkicker point will become the new Hill Head. Just a thought.

Thanks guys - will investigate if weather is kind

My wife and I are fairly frequent visitors to Eastney and Studland beaches.
Although we frequent Eastney more, as it’s closer to us than Studland.
With the breakdown of the Studland Ferry in July, this has caused us to remain closer to home beaches.
We are quite new to nudism and we only started in 2017. It’s only during 2018 that my wife has started to take her clothes off on the beach.
Our latest nudie was at Padstow beach in North Cornwall in July this year.
My wife accompanies me most times, but sometimes I go to Eastney on my own. We are very much garden nudies at anytime of the day (weather permitting).
Last week I fell from a step ladder onto my back on concrete and broke a few ribs, so after a spell in Hospital and recovery time now, coupled with the cooler weather, we won’t be visiting any more beaches this year. So sadly I'll have to wait until next year unless we get a warm day in a few weeks time, as I can't drive at the moment.
I do remember siting naked at Eastney in February this year on a very rare warm day, so there's always hope next month.

We were pleasantly surprised by Eastney beach which we visited about two weeks ago. A free car park only about 300 yards away. Beach was pebbles but clean and a good mix of people. And a warm sea !!!

My partner fell off a ladder recently while painting the front of the house. She landed quite heavily on her bottom and complained of banging her coccyx !!..I said you couldn't have done, love, you're not a bloke!!...nearly got a paintbrush across the back of my head!!...Still, a couple of days at Studland, soaking up the last of the recent end of summer sun that weekend, on an extra towel to soften her seat and she was fine!!
Must try Eastney next chance we get..not been there yet.
One life...live it !...there is no rehearsal!
I also frequently use Eastney and Meon shore and I am more than happy to say hight to all I meet. As for gay soliciting I would take it as a complement but respectfully decline. I have not noticed any such activity at Meon shore or Eastney.
Eastney was the first UK Beach I’d visited as a naturist. Prior to that I’d been to naturist beaches in France, and a few Greek islands.
I found it to be a great naturist community there and was introduced to a few regulars. I paid my towel fairly close to the start of the naturist area, by one of the ww2 anti tank blocks and in front of the old MOD station. All art from a couple of noisy twats in jet skis straffing the beach it was peaceful and I had a great couple of afternoons there.
I’d love to visit again if I’m ever in that area.
One thing I definitely won’t do is use the awful campsite alongside the beach and next to the free parking. Hideously expensive and very poor amenities.
