Throughout our time as a naturists (many good years together) I have always been searching for that perfect photographic or video moment of my wife and have taken hundreds + photo's in different locations in Norfolk, all of which I consider to be wonderful and quite a few exceptional summing up the relaxed naturist lifestyle we all search for, but recently we have been trying to work with timed photo's so we could be together in them (with mixed results), how do you look relaxed trying to beat the timer or positioning to check we would both be in shot! the pictures usually end up with us both laughing or grinning like Cheshire cats but a few have turned out beautifully and adorn our walls at home.
Has anyone else suffered the timer problems and what results did you achieve? I'ts not like you could just ask a stranger to take a photo of us, although I have been asked and obliged but found it a little bit uncomfortable!

Try a wireless camera remote control (to control the shutter). Spend £20-£30 on it.
Then when you are ready press the button.
My experience is that you will end up with better quality pictures.
Good luck!

When I see people taking pictures of each other in naturist setting I often offer to take photographs of them together and most people are pleased that I have asked, as they may have found it awkward to ask a stranger to take a photograph.

As it is their camera I do not see a problem with offering and love to take photographs so that they would appear nude but not in such a way that they may cause embarrassment to other people if they are hung on their walls at home.

Video on high quality 35mm cameras is so good now that one solution is to use a tripod and run the camera in the video setting. You can then use editing software such as Photoshop to capture the images you like. It's worked well for us.

I have a DSLR and use a wireless remote great for day pictures - part depress the remote button to auto-focus - full depress to take the picture. The other thing I do on occasions is to put the camera in HD video mode then grap whatever frame is best (not as good quality as a still, but not bad). In poor light I now nearly always use this technique as the camera struggles to focus - the other thing I do in poor light is to light the subject with a strong torch, get the camera to auto focus, then change it to manual focus, turn off the torch and take the pictures - with good results (all on remote).

Most digital cameras have an interval timer, so you can set it to take a photo every few seconds. Just delete the ones you don't want and keep the good ones.
Have used it in the past on a bird nest to capture young birds fledging

I've done similar with mine, although now tend to prefer my HD action camera (Go-pro). Great photos from stills and works underwater

Until you accidentally leave the case open.
I've now upgraded from Hero3+Silver to Hero7 Black as a result.

@dinosaurbuilderHi. I'm afraid your picture address is listed as unavaile.
