Hi,
I am not a member of the media centre, nor wish to become a member, since I don't want to show my face (I am a teacher and I am worried about exposing myself).

Can I include in my posts links to my photos on my google photos account?
It that OK with the forum rules?
cheers, Ed.

As long as the photos don't show nudity, without your face showing. That would be OK.
If you want to post photos that don't include your face, then photos that don't include nudity are OK. eg landscapes without you in them.

My only concern with photo's is that they could be downloaded and put on other less reputable sites, when the media centre accepts other members (like myself) is it protected to prevent downloading of images? ... just a thought.

[admin]It's a question that's asked before, believe me. There are answers to most questions in the Media Centre Help section including this one https://www.naturist-corner.net/community/index.php?topic=16266.0 and others like it. Does that help? [/admin]

Please add NC to any comments to pictures ..thanks.

If you're worried about exposing yourself, I would not post nude photos on the internet, anywhere. No need to download, as anyone can take a screenshot of anything,  anywhere.

I totally agree.
I worked within Education for many years before running my own business.I know of professionals whose careers/jobs were compromised by virtue of pictures finding their way on to facebook. Not nude, just a few 'wild' party pictures of the sort of antics some 20 or 30 something's might get up to while night clubbing.Parents saw the pictures and reacted vociferously!!...Naturism is something I have subscribed to and enjoy it without reserve but we are still a way from it being accepted as a lifestyle in the mainstream. In the current climate of political correctness and 'safeguarding' we do need to be careful. My advice would be to continue to enjoy your naturism as you want to but think carefully about engaging a visual record using the internet with the sort of detail that might allow someone to identify you. As TTinNWA has indicated a screenshot is all someone needs to take.
I would add that I am well and truly retired now ( early retirement - I'm not quite out to grass yet!!!) and can enjoy my time without being quite as guarded as I was during my working life...but I am still aware of potential vulnerabilities and do think things through and way up the risks...I hope this helps Edward.

One life...live it !...there is no rehearsal!

That's exactly the issue here:
My photos do not include my face. I keep on the internet photos taken from back and often I trim my head ...

According to the media centre rules I have to show my face - this is why I do not join.

I asked whether I can attach link to my photo albums, where I control the content.
Apparently, I am not allowed to do so  🙁

As I am currently experiencing problems uploading photos to the Media Centre, is it possible to upload photos directly to one of the forum threads ?

I still haven't figured out how to post photos, when I've tried it says that if I'm registered as a couple then 'both' should be in the photo !!, how does that work when one of us is holding the camera??, and please don't say use the timer, that is not a true photo it is purely 'pot luck' !!!

@pegleg .....  a fair point but many do use self-timers. However, for yourselves it’s a bit academic as you were previously a member of the Media Centre on the old site so all you currently have to do is complete the details on the following page:

https://naturist-corner.net/naturistcorner/picture-postcards-group-remain/

Hope that helps
