Hi everyone,  well what started off as very cold and foggy turned into a great opportunity. As the sun came out i decided that today should be no different to any other day when the sun is out. Drove into the countryside just outside Bicester and found a quiet place to park. Stripped off and left my clothes in the car, before walking for about 40 minutes. Chilly yes but it felt invigorating. Couldn't see to far because of the low sun , and never see anyone else. A great start to the day, just about to drive home for lunch.

Just back from a 40 minute walk around a local wood. 0c on the car temp gauge, a bit of frost underfoot and still dark on setting off. Once you get walking you don't feel the cold.

Exhilarating under the stars and then watching the sky starting to brighten and a lovely red glow developing.

A couple of other cars had since parked when I got back to mine. Heard dogs barking in the distance but saw no one and completed the whole of the circular route nude.

Can't wait to do it again.

I very much admire those who take naked walks, especially in the winter months. For me, it would involve me always being on edge wondering if I was about to offend a non naturist along the way.

I go into our garden daily to fill up the bird feeders and seldom wear anything other than shoes, finding the cold air very exhilarating during the fifteen minutes I'm out there.

Maybe, one day I will find somehere to park up and leave my clothes in the car and go off for a walk. Maybe just maybe, my wife will join me too!

I never do anything to offend people while out walking naked. I have met one or two people who have chosen to be offended instead of looking the other way or actually waiting to tell me that they are offended. I usually tell them its their choice if they want to be offended, but it is not me causing offence as I am just going about my normal legal business without clothes.

Well said. I accept that people can be offended by nudity and that may lead to problems I quite honestly have no desire to be a part of. I also accept if more of us went naked in public places, it night lead to more mutual understanding.

No Hillwalker, Balkello Woods. Just heading off there again now. Other half coming too but she's staying dressed.

Deserted car park on arrival at 06:50. Just a short walk of 50 minutes, about 34 of it nude as the wind chill and heavy rain got the better of me on the more exposed part of walk and we turned back. I don't mind the cold generally but the combination of all three, despite a brisk walking pace was too much today. No point being silly.

No cars on return to car park this time and hoping to do the same again next weekend as the other half wants to get to the top of the hill after not getting there today. Perhaps one of these days if she continues to see there is no one else around on these walks at this time of morning, she'll try it nude too. Until then, it's good to have her company.

First part of the walk we could hear at least three owls nearby and there was a great view off the stars and dawn starting to break over the North Sea until the clouds rolled in rather quickly.

On yesterday's walk, my headtorch caught a line of eye reflections looing at me from a field at the edge of the woods. I think it was sheep or cows lying down against a dyke for shelter. Slightly spooky, lol. The sky was gorgeous as it grew light and I wanted to watch the sun come up, but sadly had somewhere to be by 9:30 so couldn't.

Being outside experiencing the world like this is wonderful. Being naked adds a whole new dimension to it for me, physically and mentally. I'm so glad I took the plunge and tried it after wanting to do so for years.

Doing my first winter walk with Hillwalker about a year ago let me see you could be out there nude in the cold, not just the summer warmth, and also gave me confidence when encountering textiles on the rare occasion you meet one (thanks Hillwalker). I now love getting out there when I have an opportunity all year round.

Hi Robt,

It is a great place. As you know it is quieter still the further back you go. I shall be up there tomorrow too, well, all this week except Thursday as I need to go to Perth to vote.
