We've booked our spring break in Fuerteventura and are considering Corsica for summer.

Anyone any info/advice for beaches in and around Ajaccio city.

Also, (long shot), does anyone know if Air Corsica operate thier Airbus A320 out of Stansted, or one of the 70 seater jobbies with propellers.  😮

Can't really give much advice on the Ajaccio side of the island, but did drive past some enticing coastline on the west coast road between Ajaccio and Porto a few years ago.  Naturism isn't so widespread as on the French mainland though so you might find you have to get off the beaten track.

Our summer holiday this year was a week up near St Florent in the north followed by a week naturist camping at U-Furu near Porto Vecchio. The idea for week two was to explore some of the beaches of the south, but in fact we were having such a good time at U-Furu that we didn't have much inclination to roam any great distance.  If you're looking for peace and quiet,  laid back atmosphere, loads of space and amazing pools and cascades, then I'd really recommend this site. We flew to Bastia mid-June and had superb weather for the second week, typically 30-32C and sunny .

Many of the beaches are dazzling white sand with brilliant azure sea  , very busy in July and August - the entire island is probably best avoided in peak season. However, a lot of them are covered in deep layers of washed up sea grass which is deliberately left in situ as an inportant wildlife habitat. It looks like shredded office paper and can stink at times. The interior of the island is absolutely stunning too, although the roads can be very narrow and tortuous, making for slow progress if you want to explore the island.

Hope this hasn't put you off too much , it's a beautiful place and we'd love to go back again ( most likely when / if the pound/euro rate improves as it's not cheap out there}

The East Coast is your best bet. Lots of naturist sites near Linguizetta ( Bagheera, Corsicana etc) and Riva Bella slightly further south. Long stretches of soft sand. Also La Chiappa near Porto Vecchio. Lots of secluded coves where nude bathing is possible in these areas too. Also a great nude beach west of Bonifacio. Inland, nude sunbathing and wild river swimming is possible and is great!

We got booked up. We plumped for Ajaccio with car hire, so will have a nosey around.
Anyone been to Capo di Feno?
