John, we’ve made friends there who stay for three months in winter, 90 days before the legal requirements kick in. And another month around September.

Charco is what you make of it.

Don't they get bored with the few restaurants and how do they get their supplies?

The shop is stocked for most self catering needs, there is a proper deli with a butchers in the next village and they use the car if they want to try a new restaurant in the area.

like I said, it doesn’t suit everyone for a short holiday, but you have to remember the village has residents who’ve made a home there.

That's where the difference lies - we don't drive on holiday and M's arthritic legs mean she doesn't like walking more than half a mile to a restaurant.
This would limit us as we like to have a good choice of dining venues and there don't seem to be many taxis at Chaco.

We have never done naturist holidays as we are members of a timeshare organisation and mostly use our points to holiday in their resorts. However we do seek out naturist beaches wherever we are and this February/March (just before the restrictions kicked in) whilst staying in Lanzarote we visited Charco on 3 occasions. My wife was so impressed that she suggested we have a full week there at the end of our already planned trip next March. We have booked this now with the help of the lovely Wendy at Nudelanza and are very much looking forward to it.
