We're interested in this thread too as Northants people, this is as close to a naturist beach we can get.

I have googled it too but can't find anything specific. Am thinking of having a visit and exploring a bit to see if any naturists are in fact using it...

It's an out of the way location.  I was thinking of checking it out at some point, but I doubt there's a particular "naturist scene" there, just sufficiently far away that no one will bother you.

Would be great to know though.

Long time since I was round there, and I don't remember any nudity, but then I'm thinking of Stiffkey (pronounced Stookey) as mainly salt-marsh - very beautiful all along that coast. There should often be places quiet enough to wander naked - maybe not at height of staycation season though....

Just done a search and come across this article about it and directions.

Holme-next-Sea and Thornham Beach(10 minute drive) is a quiet beach and a favourite with locals who love the Norfolk coast. There’s a smooth, flat sandy beach, rolling sand dunes and a village pub. Nearby you’ll find a wildfowl reserve and a nudist beach: the place has something for everyone!

If you want a much more secluded beach day then take the turning down a sandy track on the right hand side just before the beach. You will have to pay for a daily membership to the Holme Wildlife Trust but you can then drive for over a mile down to the Wildlife Centre and walk through the reserve forest to access the beach much further down- the golden sands will often be practically deserted. The Wild Life trust has a small cafe, loo and sells ice creams! The Lifeboat Inn is also just a few steps from the harbour at Thornham and around the corner you will find our sister hotel Anna’s House.

Looking at that magazine article I think perhaps they mixed up two different locations. It talks of an apparently (unknown) naturist beach at Holme, then in the description of Holkham doesn't mention it has one most well known c/o beaches in the country. 

Given all the space I suppose at Holme you could set up on the beach without any bother, although having a walk and a paddle could mean it's just you and the textiles.

I visit Holme Beach quite often, it's only about 30 minutes away for us. I've never spent any naked time there nor ever seen anybody naked there. On any good weather day the beach will seem very quiet but there will also be a number of people walking around. The dunes are cordoned off for nesting birds so there is no access to them. It is a very big beach, mostly sandy with some shingle. The tide goes out a long way so at low tide the beach is huge but very flat.

I think what I'm trying to say is that it is a really nice beach and quiet but nowhere is secluded. It is not designated as a naturist beach. So in my view unless you are very brave and willing to face people who may or may not be happy with your nudity then it is not a place to go nude.

I too found the article mentioned in this thread and also agree that if you read the whole article the author seems to be confusing Holme Beach with Holkham Bay, they are both fairly close to the Hotel (the article is on a Hotel website).

would suggest plenty of space for all.
Similar in my mind to a walk in the

Having had a couple of days to research it I also only found the article quoted.

I also researched the public transport issue, hadn't realised it's only 30 minutes less from Kings Lynn than Holkham is, and judging by the map around the same length of walk from the bus stop to the beach (maybe not even a section for discretionary naturism ) so unless someone can come up with better precise details I'm afraid it's another forlorn hope.
