About 8 years ago my partner and I did one of NZ’s great walks. We couldn’t have asked for better weather or better scenery. At one point we came across this beautiful cove just asking to be swum in. My partner stripped off with what seemed no cares in the world but I was too nervous about what would happen if someone came along the path. Needless to say, a decision I’ve regretted.
We have a section of beach near us which is the viewed unofficially as a clothing optional section. We regularly walk along this section of beach in order to reach the cafe we like. One afternoon last summer I finally decided to take the plunge. After a beer or two it has to be said! After looking up and down the beach to make sure no one clothed was walking past, I stripped off and walked quickly and nervously down the beach into the sea. From that moment all I want to do when the weather allows and we do that walk is to strip off and jump in the sea and then allow the sun to dry me off afterwards.
Now, as we head towards our summer, I’m hoping to take the next step and head to the local naturist campsite to see if naturism is truly for me. I’m now much further along the path to naturism than my partner, but hopefully over the future we will end up at the same place in that journey.
About 20 years ago I stumbled across Maspalomas and as it was a hot day (it would be in the Canaries) I disrobed fully and relaxed, now 20 years on I look back on that day with gratitude
Although I had been a member of a naturist club for a couple of years I'll never forget the thrill of going naked on a beach for the first time. Club members had long expressed their fondness of Morfa Dyffryn naturist beach near Barmouth, North Wales so I decided to visit it myself. It's a fair walk to the naturist section but after I spotted naked people wandering about the beach in the distance I knew I was in the right area. A local authority notice board further confirmed I had arrived and that I needed to pass the sign before disrobing. Enjoying the sight of all those naked fellow naturists I walked along a little further and chose myself a suitable spot to lay my towel . You have to be careful and respectful as a single male not to locate yourself too near single ladies, couples or families. Suitably distanced I undressed and the feeling of the cool sea air on my naked body was a sensation I will never forget. One other bonus for me was the fact that footwear wasn't required and I so love being bare footed when naked. Unlike the confines of a naturist club there is this fantastic realisation of being completely naked in a vast public space and wandering across the beach naked to take a dip in the sea is to me the true excitement of naturism. This coupled with the fact that I was amongst and accepted by other naked people who felt the same as me. What a day and what a wonderful experience. Needless to say, Morfa Dyffryn is my favourite naturist destination and I visit whenever I get the opportunity.
First time at a Nudist beach the other day and I absolutely loved every minute! Wish I would have gone sooner. Can't wait for Summer to arrive next year. Felt amazing being completely naked.
Not officially a nudist beach but as a young teen, on holiday at Talacre in North Wales, enjoying the 'freedom' that being that little bit older gives you, and I walked from the caravan site through the dunes to the beach.
Crossing the dunes I saw a man sitting looking out to sea next to the path, and as I go closer realised he was naked.
I must have looked surprised as he said that it was allowed in the dunes but not on the beach itself.
I carried on and probably spent an hour looking for interesting things on the tide line, but the thought of spending a few minutes naked in the sunshine kept recurring to me, so about 20 minutes before I was due to go back I went back to the dunes and walked away from the path along the top.
From there I could tell that at several points there were people in secluded spots, so found one myself and took my tshirt and shorts off. It took me a few moments to take my underpants off, but I instantly felt so good, at one with nature, and so relaxed.
Despite this I still felt nervous, and hearing someone approaching put my shorts over my genitals, but it was a naked man who just nodded to me and carried on.
The next person going past I didn't hide, he smiled, said hello, and walked on.
Needless to say I was taking a walk at least twice a day for the rest of the holiday.
One summer day when I was about 12 years old a friend and I were playing along some coastal cliffs and made our way to a secluded beach. We discovered 2 girls and a guy nude sunbathing. Nonchalantly chatting. We decided to remove our trunks too. We spent the entire day naked. Swimming, building sand castles, skipping rocks. For the rest of the summer whenever we visited the cliffs we were nude.
My first time as a adult was about 3 years ago .
I had been thinking about it for a few years , but as I was still working at that time , I found it hard .
it was a beautiful sunny day and I just had the need to strip off and enjoy the sun on my whole body , I checked the web for somewhere to go and the nearest place was on the Isle of Sheppey .
it was a fairly long day , so I decided to go the next morning .
it took my ages to find it , but I was so glad I did , stripping off and laying out on the beach was magical.
it felt like a heavy weight had been lifted off me .
The feeling of freedom was amazing.

My first time as an adult was during holiday to the Isle of Man. We found a very small cove near Peel and swam and sunbathed nude all day. It was incredible.

My first nude beach was Brighton. My first wife had gone to visit a friend overnight so I had the day to myself and had been thinking about going there for quite a while. I won't deny, it was for more voyeuristic reasons, but I soon felt decidedly overdressed in my swimming trunks so they soon came off. It was a great feeling walking on the beach and swimming completely naked. I started using Eastney, nr. Portsmouth soon after, I preferred the atmosphere.
I now live in the States with no nude beaches close by. I do miss those visits to the naturist beach.

..you won't go wrong if you go to the Katikati Naturist Park, it's got great facilities and everyone is very friendly. I've been there a couple of times when in NZ and never regretted it
My partner Alison and I have been to a naturist beach twice, when we took holidays in Spain. We went with some friends and I was very nervous as I am on the large side. But once we had got there and sorted our sun lougers out we soon stripped off and the feeling was bliss. I then went into the sea for the first time naked and not having clinging swim shorts on was a revalation. Sadly we have not as of yet gone to a naturist beach in the UK but hope to do so soon.
Life is to short, live it to the full and sod the consequences.
