@skidbladnirwell we shouldn't have really but we kept a big distance between us . I had the offer and thought if I turn it down I might never do it so just went for it

I probably shouldn’t have gone for a wild swim this morning technically - not that I was expecting to meet anybody. The worst of it was, just before I got to my parking spot, I started feeling a bit queazy. Don’t think there was anything wrong with me, but I took it as my body telling me it didn’t want a cold swim today and I didn’t want to tempt fate, especially with my vaccination due this afternnon.

There’s always next week.

My first time socially was Waterwold about 13 years ago. It wasn’t so much social as fun on the flumes etc with a load of like-minded people. Skinny dipping, or wild swimming on the other hand was from as young as I can remember. We just called it swimming outdoors...in rivers or tarns.

Well I'm trying to talk to people on here and on a few naturist page. I suppose I need to go somewhere to meet people but would like to make a triend to go with. Is a bit like the chicken and the egg

You could start by letting us know what part of the country you are in, so that we have some idea of whether a meet is even practical.

@neil176 there’s a “South Yorkshire Naturists” group with a website. Various swims and spa nights arranged when Covid regs allow. Google them and get in touch with John Oliver who runs it. Hopefully I’ll be going at times when they get going, but sometimes it’s a bit too far south for me. If you enjoy a walk, Sherwood Forest is generally naturist friendly and David Gilderdale on here would help you out with that, or they have a FB site. Message me if you want more info or a friendly face to go with.

@neil176 Before lock down there was a naked swimming session at South Forest leisure centre Edwinstowe. They were on the first and third Saturday night each month staring at 7.30 pm till 10.30 pm cost 650 pence. (I haven't got a pound sign). I would be happy to meet you in the car park and go through into the pool with you. There is a sauna as well where I spend most of my time chatting. If this is something you would like to do, just let me know and I will let you know when the swimming sessions start up again.

Tracey and i were on a bout when the swims start again of making a trip over again 

@mark-and-tracey Yes I cant wait, I used to go to the Sleaford swims as well which were on the 2nd and 4th Saturdays, so I used to go somewhere every week. Really missing it.

We have also been to the sleaford swim so our paths may have even crossed then

I've been to the Sleaford swim a few time and do miss it, it is the only social nude activity I have. My wife limits herself to quiet foreign beaches only. Determined to go to the Edwinstowe when possible. Hope to meet you all again soon. 

Looks as though Edwinstowe won't be open until the end of June can't wait miss going.
