Has anyone ever been there? I've had contact numbers in the past but no response to messages.
And before anyone points out it's not a beach, where else can I put "bit of land by a river"?
Do you mean Riverbank club in Newnham ? I know of a three naturist members. Nice part of the river with punts and canoes going past. Car parking can be difficult and no facilities on site.
With all the interest in wild swimming it has had a lot of requests to join so a long waiting list, I believe.
I do wonder if the surge in membership will kill of the naturist side
Yes, that's the one, I knew as I wrote Riverside it felt wrong.
I must admit I was hoping for a bit more positive news, this would have halved the journey time if I go to Holkham or Corton.
I was diagnosed with vitamin D deficiency a few weeks ago, been trying to do walks along the local river but can't find anywhere to get sunshine all over.
Thanks anyway, hope you have a great summer.
Ian.

...
According to the website, membership is by introduction only and currently stands at about 650 (pre-covid figure) with a waiting list of more than 120. The site itself is crowded with fifty people and those who arrive first or have been there for two hours or more are expected to leave, according to the club's own blurb. Membership approvals are being slowed to avoid overcrowding.
I don't think you have a chance of joining by contacting them. That notwithstanding, it doesn't seem like the place for peace and solitude.
No, unfortunately I think you are right.
It sounds like there is considerable demand for a second venue then. Shame I don't have any land along the river! (Or much at all...)
