I'm hearing conflicting stories about Hengistbury Head.
Some say naturism is 'tolerated', others say it incurs the wrath of the locals.
I'm a keen angler, and it looks like a decent spot for a spot of 'in the buff' fishing.
Any thoughts/advice.
TIA
Hengistbury Head, never fished it, but is had thrown up some very good fish in the past.
As for naked fishing, it can very busy down there in the summer months, you could go early in the morning for a lure session naked for Bass and be away by 09:00 or when the crowd arrives.
I have done a bit of naked sunbathing on Hengistbury Head beach, just round from the headland bit on the Southbourne side. Quite a lot of people walk by though. There are some dunes on that corner which maybe better for sunbathing. I would think fishing there as too exposed and in vie of too many non naturists.
Pete.friendly naturist !
I have not been to Hengistbury Head and Southbourne for a few years now. I was normally the only person naked. A lot of people walk along that beach Hengistbury Head end. I did have a few nice spots more Southbourne way and I liked to get on the beach early to get my spot but sometimes the beach got so full later that I ended up moving on.
