Last August, my wife and I went to Caister-On-Sea-on-Sea for a week in a caravan park using it as a base to explore from. Early into our stay, we went to Horsey Beach, parking at the Horsey Gap car park, near groyne 38/39 for about £7 for the day! As usual, we went for a nice stroll heading south towards Winterton. Our first surprise was around groyne 42/43 when we came upon 200-300 seals. But better than that at around groyne 45 we discovered naturist sunbathers! Well, I didn’t need to think twice and stripped off and went in the sea for a great dip. In order to air dry off we continued our walk south and discovered that from groyne 47 to groaners 55 is designated the naturist section and it is very quiet there without any gawkers! Basically its the midpoint between Horsey and Winterton and ther furthest from any amenities so no families to possibly offend. So we got all of the way to 55 before returning back to where we had left our things and for most our our walk we were “native”! Highly recommended, go for it! 😎
Ahhh...love the sound of that!!!..what sort of distance would you say you covered during your walk? I enjoy walks of several miles or so and as much of it clothes free as possible. It's not a problem either if the distance has to be covered in a round trip. Would you say that where you parked was the best place to be or might there be other possible parking places, for a high top VW camper? I have to ask that for I cannot get into car parks if they have a height restriction below 2.5m !!!

From Horsey Gap car park to the naturist section is about 2.5 miles either along the beach past the seals or a path that runs parallel to the beach behind the dunes. Not your preferred length and you will meet textiles along the way! As for car park height restriction, cannot recall a barrier but there was a gate, sorry! But walking along the beach clothing free was wonderful, especially to dry off after a swim. It is well known but not over busy and too much fro gawkers and walkers! Enjoy!

If anyone wants to know what the beach and facilities (or lack of them) look like, including the car park, there is a Google Streetview image along the nearby sand dunes from Horsey Beach down to Winterton. Although there seems to be a gate to the car park, I can see no height restrictions for vehicles upon entry.

I think this is both an ideal beach for both naturists and naturalist together.
Well just arrived for our holiday at Winterton so hoping for some good weather. Wont be taking my early morning walk though as winterton beach under 24hr surveillance from volunteers for RSPB.

Shame we went by weather forecast. Did all non beach related activities start of the week as end of week supposed to be good. Weather has been overcast and cold winds and forecast now saying not much improvement.
This morning was good so up at 5am for a nude walk through dunes and down to beach. Excellent and not a sole about.

@barebarmey glad to hear the weather is picking up for you now. My wife doesn’t trust the reports anymore and goes by sticking her head out of the window!!! By all accounts today should be good, watch out for the seals if you go skinny dipping but enjoy a nice walk to air dry!
Didn't get down there till about 4pm as wife needed persuading. Then she decided wouldn't walk to the nudist section. I carried on alone on my own and stripped off but didn't want to leave her on her own so was a brief beach walk.
Saturday morning, last day of holiday, got up early and walked dunes nude for a lovely walk. Went onto the beach and stripped off again and unfortunately got caught out.

I never expected my wife to be as comfortable with me as she is but she does understand how it makes me feel and may join in some time when she feels courageous enough!
Perhaps she just was not in the right frame of mood and it was bloody hot on both weekend days!
Off to north Norfolk, pandemic permitting, in August and plan to go to Holkham but will not push too hard!

@barebarmey maybe another way would be on the possibility of seeing a couple of hundred seals (grey and common) on the beach with their pups! Better than paying quite a bit of money to not see any on a special boat trip. If you went for a dip they may swim with you as they are very inquisitive. Spooked me the first time it happened but never bothered by them just aware of them, but an incredible sight to see!
Yes, we went to see them when there is the most of them there. But this is December! She has walked there many times before but you never know when she will walk that far.
Planning on going there tomorrow. I don't often get to the coast as it's so bleeding far (about 80 mile for closest bit, with Winterton around 100). It's a toss up between Winterton and Holkham.
