I'll be at the maize maze clothes optional event in North Lincolnshire on 31st July from 6pm. Thornton Abbey maize maze are being amazing by opening their doors to us. Just £7.50 entry, pay on the door. Picnics welcome. Shop selling refreshments (tea coffee softdrinks snacks) Overnight camping possible (need to book in advance - message me)

Just as a follow up, this event was quite a success and really fun.

If I'm honest, if someone had said to me, "lets go do the maize maze at thornton abbey" I dont think it would have really appealed probably because during the day its full of kids, but the opportunity to do something unusual, naked was too great. The weather forecast wasnt very good but on the evening, the sun came out and its was a pleasant 20c, perhaps even warmer in the maze. There was a quiz and outside the maze there was crazy golf and other games, mostly aimed at kids, but hey, I was a kid once, so I retained my membership. We had to forgo the waterpistol fight tractor ride, but it wasnt quite warm enough for that. The owner has said we're welcome to come back again.

Well I'm sorry I missed this, but according to the forecast it was going to rain, and I rather stupidly believed it! Hope this event is repeated, then I may get another chance.

God give me patience ... but I want it NOW!!My YouTube Channel: https://www.youtube.com/user/steveteb/videos

Haven't you noticed how many nice days are forecast rain? Don't believe the weather forecast. Lots of people across several platforms have said the same thing. Didn't go because of the weather forecast. Today's forecast was for rain until this morning when the forecast changed to rain this afternoon. We'll see.

Don't miss the Goltho Gardens near Lincoln visit at the end of August. And don't believe the weather forecast

It all depends on the prevailing weather pattern. We tend to notice the forecast when it's wrong for our patch, but generally they are very good. If you watch the national forecast at the moment you'll see there are bands and patches of rain crossing the country frequently, and it's virtually impossible to say with certainty that a particular place will be wet or dry over a period of hours. I use a combination of the BBC weather app and a website called metcheck.com. Metcheck tends to be very pessimistic on temperatures but good for rainfall amounts.

My point is that every naturist event I've been to this year, people have decided not to attend because of the weather forecast. Every one of those events, the weather has been lovely. Even Burrows Gardens, someone posted that the weather forecast put them off, yet there were lots of people who spent the day sunbathing on the main lawn. Such a shame
