Myself and Mrs ThunderCity will be in Puerto Del Carmen for a week on the 5th March 2022.
Can anyone give us a heads up regarding the naturist beach by the airport.
I'm confused. I can't work out whether it's Honda, Matagorda, Airport Beach or non of the above.
If I get a taxi to the nudist beach from PDC, where should I ask to be dropped off.
N.B. We'd like to be at the family friendly, no funny stuff end if that applies.
If you were to hire a car, you could go north to Charco del Palo , the naturist village, at Mala . Turn right at the Don quixote restaurant (it is signposted Charco del Palo) and follow the road to the village .
It is very hard to describe the inner enjoyment of being naked .
As you walk round from Matagorda towards Playa Honda, the pathway turns along the length of the airport runway. You’ll find the middle section is naturist. It is called Playa Guacimeta I believe. There is a promenade behind the beach whcih can be very busy with walkers, runners and cyclists and I think this may be the reason that there have been few naturists there when we have visited. If going by taxi from Puerto Del Carmen, then you need to be dropped off in Matagorda - I will dig out the map and look up the street name.

Further to info above - you need to be dropped of at the beach end of cale Mato in Matagorda, next to the Hotel Beatriz Playa & Spa. Please let us know how you get on..
I would highly advise getting a hire car and going to Charco del Palo, its a naturist village. Julie has provided directions already. Alternatively you could go to Papagayo (a series of beaches in the south. As you look at a map the southern beach on the east coast is the best for naturism.

On previous visits to Lanzarote we have had a car and stayed in Puerto del Carmen (we are in a timeshare organisation and use our points to stay at their resort there). We usually visit Carco del Palo while there - a drive of about 20-30 minutes - and so enjoyed it last time we decided that next time we would have a week in CdP tagged onto our stay in Puerto del Carmen. That was originally planned for March 2021 but of course got cancelled and so we are now going in 2 weeks time - 3 - 10 March in CdP followed by 2 weeks inPuerto del Carmen. Can't wait!!!
