Naturism is officially allowed now in a beach already frequented by naturists. The beach is in Versilia (the coast in the norther part of Tuscany) and is close to Torre del Lago and Viareggio. It is the best preserved part of a coast known for heavy urbanization and high level tourist activities.

The sections of the beach are signed by poles with numbers. Naturism is allowed between 13 and 15, there are also signs showing the naturist area. Walking and staying on dunes behind the beach is never allowed, also outside the naturist part.
