We wonder how many people have been to Cap d'Agde.
We visit twice a year and in fact own 2 apartments there, but we prefer to be in our caravan on the camp site as we find it much more friendly.  Usually within a couple of minutes of arriving someone will invite you for a glass of wine.
It's quite a liberal lifestyle there, but it does cater for all ages, from babies to people in their 80s.  The beach is wonderful.
We will be there again in June so would like to hear from anyone who has been there, or will be there next Summer or would like to know more about it.

I've been but not been for about 5 years as the opportunity hasn't arisen. Would like very much to go back soon though

Thank you for the invitation. Unfortunately, usually I'm in Cap d'Agde after July 14.

Sincerely, I'm not a fan of the Cap. I'll mainly because I have the opportunity to stay naked 24h/24. I even managed to go shopping at the supermarket naked. In another naturist village, I would have been drived!!!  ;D However, if the goal is to make naturism seriously, the Cap isn't ideal. We must be honest: most people will search for transgression. This doesn't shock me. I accept this atmosphere of freedom. There is a limit: by esemple, sex on the beach is quite tolerated, but only after 19:00. People who stay on the beach aren't choirboys, so no scandal.

That said, I don't share your opinions on the beach. In other french naturist villages, the beaches are less chaotics and most charming. Moreover, the architecture of the buildings is the absolute horror: the worst of 1970s architecture.  🙁

We agree that the architecture is not brilliant, but then we go for the ambiance, not the style of buildings.
So far as the beach is concerned, if you want a quite time, the the Cap is definitely not for you, but if you want an exciting time, both night and day, then I challange anyone to suggest a better place.
We have been to Hedonism 2 eight times but since we discovered Cap d'Agde, we no longer go there.
So decide what you want from a holiday and then make your decision.

Sorry to say we've never been fans of France generally.  Our experiences both in northern and southern areas have led us to prefer Italy, Spain and Portugal.  Italy and Portugal for the food and terrific friendly service, Portugal and Spain for the amount of naturist possibilities.

Have not been to Cap d'Agde but did visit the Frejus/St Tropez area.

We try and go twice a year too, but now we choose to stay in nearby Marsellon Plage and then walk along to the beach at Cap, we don't bother going to the village anymore but enjoy very much the beach life at the far end, nearest to Marsellon, and for those of you who know the area you'll know what I mean.

We have been for the last couple of years and agree the campsite is far better.  Unfortunatly we will be going in late July /August so won't get the chance to meet.

What do the beaches there look like. Is it nice or is it overshadowed by the concrete jungle?

We've booked ten days end of July begining of August and it cost around £260.00.  That is on the campsite, not sure what the apartments or hotels are.

I have had the 2010 brochure and prices on the campsite are 15/3 - 30/4 & 23/09 - 15/10 = 19 Euros - 1/5 - 20/6 & 1/9 - 12/9 =24.5 Euros and 1/7 - 31/8 = 32 Euros per night for a pitch (4 adults max). High season last year was 30 Euros. A great place

Been once  and not really keen to revisit for lots of reasons really.
Not sure I  feel comfortable with the vast range of "activities" that appear all around you.

But this is my personal view of what I saw when there so please dont let this put anyone off trying themselves
