I love swimming (in the summer) at the western end of lake Geneva, between Evian and the Swiss boarder. Lovely clear water, warmer than expected and with the mountains in the background, just so relaxing.
Are there any clothes optional beaches, or naturist facilities near bye?

Sorry can't help regarding naturist beaches, but it reminded me of swimming in Lake Annecy back in 1989 - a superb location and as you say, very relaxing with the mountain scenery. A couple of years ago we enjoyed a skinny dip in the Lac de Vouglans in Jura, an unusually blue lake with a grassy shore and very soft white mud bottom - lovely!
BTW - Suggest you wear wetsuit if swimming in Lake Geneva in January 😉
Thanks for the reply. I did manage a swim off Milford on Sea beach on Boxing Day. Yes, I did use a wetsuit, a triathlon suit plus gloves and boots, but they worked well and it means I can now swim all year round. Naked in the summer and suited in the winter. Did manage to swim naked up to November though!
