We are going to Barcelona for "City Break" in a couple of weeks time. Not intended to be a Naturist holiday but may find time to visit this beach if weather warm enough as it is near our hotel. Does anybody know if Naturism is allowed on the beach? Thanks

hi, that beach is not naturist. have a couple of nude beaches in the main town of Barcelona, easy get there walkin, one is in Olimpic villa, and the other up to the north 20 min walk of metro “Poblenou” (Yellow Line, L4).
Mar Bella one is closer to Nova Icaria, 1 km..against 3 in case u want to go walkin

It is primarily a "textile" city break we are going on but will see if we have time to visit one of those beaches.

Well Trish & I came back from Barcelona late Sunday Evening. Wednesday to Saturday were spent sightseeing but on Sunday we had some free time. We strolled along the prom and found the Playa Mar Bella and decided to join the other bare souls there although it was too cold for a dip. We stayed for about an hour before we reluctantly had to leave the beach to get our lunch before leaving for the airport. What I found strange was that on Mar Bella there were a mix of nude and swimsuited people but on the next door beaches there was no one who had stripped down even to a cossie!!
If we go to Barcelona again we will get a hotel closer to Mar Bella
