Hi , Lanzarote , Playa Blanca is in the south of the island , just along from Playa Blanca is Papagayo (quite a walk )and its naturist beaches . We go in the north of the island to Charco del Palo the naturist village . OK the beach is limited to a small sea pool , but you can easily sunbathe on the patios . You can also walk nude for about 45 mins to the south of the village or about 2 1/2 hours to the north of the village .In the north east of the island is Famara and its naturist beach , it has a tremendous back drop of cliffs , nice and sandy into the sea , or was last time we were there , but the seas do change things .To get to the Famara beaches you have to drive towards the bungalows , go to the side , then up across and down again .

It is very hard to describe the inner enjoyment of being naked .

Hi Sam, Playa Blanca, my wife and I went to the Natura Palace. This is a part textile part naturist hotel...textile in the main part but with a naturist garden and naturist spa. In my eyes it was perfect for people who like a bit of both! Also convenient for the Papagayo naturist beaches which are about 2 miles down a track road...so a hire car is needed really, else take the water taxi (pricey...but 'door to door'). Playa Blanca's also great for newbie scuba diving if you fancy that...that was the main reason for me picking the resort in the first place. Also on the cards would be a trip to the volcanic region just to the north, and a day trip to Correjho on Fuerteventura via the ferry. All in all a grand little place...not quite as busy/touristy as some of the resorts in the north.

The Natura Palace is now in Peng travels 'nearly naturist' section in the new brochure. Check it out there.

We recommend this car rental company but still always check the car over - and the oil level -  beforehand, despite their excellent damage weaver no quibble policy. We book in advance over the net - they are at the airport and other locations on Lanzerote & Tenerife. Good prices!!

The small naturist seaside resort of Charco del Palo isn't far from where you're staying in Costa Teguise. It's worth spending a day there, especially if you have use of a rental car. There is a natural sea fed pool, shops & bars and a large area to roam naked.

Your Villa in Nazaret looks fab - please post feedback from your holiday.

Charco is worth a visit, particularly if you have a car. We loved it there.

What's so funny about peace, love and understanding?

We love Charco del Palo and go there usually twice a year.
The atmosphere there is really laid back and, as others have said, you can walk for miles without clothes and not feel out of it.
There are some good eateries there and a good bar, Pete's Bar, together with a decent but not large supermarket. The good thing is that there are no tours that use Charco and everyone is on the same wave lengths.
Would seriously recommend it to anyone visiting Lanzarote and, since we have noticed more and more non Brits every year recently, the more Brits the better.  ;D

We are a happily married family couple with lots of things going on in our lives. We both enjoy naturism but my wife likes the temperatures to be more comfortable than me which restricts UK action
